That chase scene is a key example of how the "runny eggs" style of animation works brilliantly if the animation budget allowed for constant movement in a scene.

10 years later and the grip that this animation has over me. I think about it at least 1 time a month. The comic itself was pretty good, but nothing has made me more interested in an IP than this trailer does for the comic. I don't even really remember the ending but I remember loving everything about this short. Thank you!

This has an incredibly unique animation style and I think it's a damn shame it was never made into a series. Perhaps now that it's resurfacing on youtube, someone might pick it up for this new Golden Age of independent animation we've currently entered.
