Dude I have been looking into building my own grill after my gas grill fell apart this weekend, thank God. I've been on You Tube looking into steel drum cookers but you have sold me on the clay pot method! Not just because of your setup but the "Slap Ya Mamma" seasoning on the table, hilarious! Keep doing what your doing love the grill and the vid.

Thanks Ken, it does work pretty well, now i just have to learn how to control it. I might add a port for the Party-Q fan if i end up fluctuating too much using the vents. Next weekend i will make some pulled pork or similar to see if i can get it to stay at a lower temp. Not that i i am too worried, i dontmind cooking at 300 tbh :)

Hehe true - i looked for a long time. The two years ago i found a store selling the bottom one, but found no ”lid”. Then we went to a garden center we never visited before and there it was the one i use as a lid. Was a bit of a risk since i did not have exact measurements, but they fit well enough together :)
@danielwhite82303 жыл бұрын
@@LassesFoodAndBarbecue I was going to ask where you got the lid ^ ^. I am in the same situation, stuck with the bottom, awaiting my top!
