That’s great news. At least the hardcore trumpsters are slinking back under their rocks. I live in a blue county in FL. Was going to protest vote for rfk jr when Biden was so insistent on staying. I never liked Harris, I thought she was flippant, spoke to people like they were kindergartners, and did a lousy job at the border. She must have some good speech writers because she’s rising to the occasion. Tables have turned, I’ll cast my vote for Walz. He reminds me of my dad’s generation, the WWII veterans, patriots who did not mince words. I do wonder why Harris keeps calling herself black. It dishonors her mother; Indians are not considered black, but South Asian. She is biracial.

Look, Biden won in 2020 by over 70 electoral votes and by a 4% margin of the popular vote. Neither of these results was “close.” Of course, the popular margins in the swing states were close - but those states decide the election BECAUSE they are always close. We should really be talking less about how divided the “electorate” is and more about how skewed the electoral college is. With all due respect to Pennsylvania, it is not “the electorate.” The whole country is the electorate.

The world is looking to the American people for leadership. Generations of Americans, Brits, Kiwis and Aussies have fought and died for freedom. NOW the most powerful democracy in the world is under threat from within their own country due to Trump's Project 2025 agenda. If American democracy falls into tyranny, who will be left to defend freedom? As Kamala Harris says "The power is with the people". This is the strength of America and all free democracies. Citizens of the US, please "use your power" and VOTE or it could be the last time you get to exercise that power. Please protect freedom in the world, US, vote for Harris/Walz.

One of Trump's former White House advisers admitted that Trump is not telling about his conneotion to Project 2025 as a politic trick because people are afraid of this project, but if elected Trump is the game card to a autocracy in Project 2025.

He has to be. They don't have any other horse in the race that is capable of running. All the other possible candidates are disliked by the Trump-crowd and Trump did everything to make them unlikable to the people. Sure, there are those who will always vote for the Republicans just because, but the swing-voters who flocked to Trump will not go with anyone else. So the whole Project hinges on Trump winning. THey don't have the time to build up a different candidate enough. If Trump were to drop out like Biden did and endorsed someone - okay, possibly. But I doubt he'll do that.

It’s interesting that the issue of race and gender didn’t come up at all. Do they not think more women, and more minorities, will vote for Harris because she is a woman and a minority? I’m very excited about the opportunity to elect a woman. But it’s very interesting that they don’t even mention/consider thus as a factor.
@dreamcoyote2 ай бұрын
"it's complicated" There has been discussion about gender and how that has shifted in the polls over the last month. I'd prefer they leave that sort of things to what the polls tell us rather than what they think might be happening (barring having someone on as a guest that represents a group). I'm most interested in those "undecided" voters we always hear about. I have no idea where their heads are so can't assume how things have changed in their view.
@heidiortiz93522 ай бұрын
Voters say that their top concerns are the economy, immigration and abortion access - no one is saying their top issue is electing a woman as president. I’m excited for a woman president, but I wouldn’t have voted for Nicki Haley in a Haley vs. Biden matchup. The campaign has to stick to the voters’ top issues!

@@lindaflesch7303Exactly! They’re just pretending at this point. Trump has shown us all that he is, during his term, the insurrection, the court cases, his mental illness, racism, misogyny. Anybody who can’t make up their minds between voting for such a nasty, vile and vulgar person, and a decent and kind person, whether Biden or Kamala, and essentially the kind of country in which they’d like to live, such a person is not a serious person at all.

It's false imo, that the candidate switch doesn't change the landscape. It'll have a massive effect on the ground game, not visible in the polls now, but will be once its effect starts bleeding in.

It's a waste of time, it achieves *NOTHING* and is evidence the creators are not really thinking in real, new-media terms. Why are you creating a tv show on youtube? We know who you are. We have no time to waste. We want to watch this in chronological order. No highlight is going to turn us either away or convince us to watch if we didn't want to. It's just silly.

One thing that frustrates me about Democrats is that there's always a 'but'. Regardless of how deranged Trump gets, there's always this united front of 'we can't possibly lose, because our candidate is so awesome'. I understand trying to drive engagement, but what voters need now is hope and to relish this moment. Too many 'buts' will dampen enthusiasm, not increase it.
