Kamoshida FINALLY Gets What He DESERVES!

There's actually a few deleted scenes that explain HOW some of the major antagonists became distorted in the first place. In Kamoshida's case, he forced a woman to become intimate with him shortly after he won his gold medal. At first, he actually IMMEDIATELY felt guilty and panicked asking his manager how to handle the situation. When the manager helped him sweep the incident under the rug instead of holding him accountable, THAT was the moment he started to see himself as a king entitled to whatever he wants. And his horrid desires only snowballed from there.

True! I think it was supposed to activate a flashback cutscene whenever you collect the will seeds in a palace that shows bits and pieces on how a particular ruler became so distorted. Too bad they were unused in the final game, it would’ve given us more depth on how these twisted blooming villains came to be and how they MUST be stopped before they hurt anyone else.

@@eunibuni From what I can tell, they only made two or three of them before they realized "Wait, if we make one of these for [SPOILER], it'll reveal [PLOT TWIST] early." And so they scrapped the concept altogether.

@@jacquespaught Tis a shame they did. Although the reasoning is understandable from a story point of view. Although they could’ve left out the one for *[SPOILERS]* , however it would’ve felt out of place if the other villains got those cutscenes and there were some exceptions.

@@eunibuniit would be kinda cool but on the other hand, this is supposed to be about taking accountability for your horrible actions. showing the “reason” is somewhat pointless since it defeats the purpose of why they’re stopping them. they are people on the top who abuse their power, even if they aren’t relatable at all giving them a backstory potentially removes some accountability from them

I think Black Frost has to be the coolest overall, but honorable mention to the Frost Five from the Devil Survivor/Devil Summoner Series, they are colorful and unique

1:00:30 Not sure how far into the game you are right now, but you can't ever crit story bosses. Even if you have 100% crit chance with end-game setups it won't happen, because story bosses are hardcoded to be immune to crits.

Just my take: I think Ann's purpose in calling Shiho an idiot for being manipulated is to trigger Kamoshida and not to really insult Shiho. But in a way, it really is kind of victim blaming 😅
