@@jebVlogs556 that’s definitely true, I’m in PA I can own basically anything without permits or any restrictions. Creating your own sanctuary cost millions of dollars Canon was a bike rider for many years I probably saved every penny and then he was a bike commentator and he gives commentary and interview like writers too so he made his fortune years ago and now is using it as he pleases to live the life he wants most of us aren't that lucky we have to work hard all our lives that just some menial job in order to make any money just to live let alone squirrel money away and save it for a project in the future

@Devan Cummings You can do it, all you have to do is work towards it & it sounds like you're already on the path just by working with wildlife. Don't let anyone discourage you by telling you, you have to be a Millionaire to create your own sanctuary one day, that's a bunch of bullcrap. Have a nice weekend & remember to follow your dreams, you got this!

@@NaNaTT549 thank you so much lol. I've been working in wildlife most of my life, and I have big plans soon. And I definitely know it doesn't take a million dollars, unless I wanted to house elephants and sharks 😂. But rather just work at zoo or aquarium than own those animals. I'm more working towards a educational facility that also does rescue and rehabilitation. Mostly focus on reptiles and large birds.

I love these lizards, and they got lovely personalities. Plus I saw some ants, I just hope these are not invasive ants IE the Fire Ants, plus if these ants are not Fire Ants what I read (but I might be wrong), they eat insects, and they can free food in by running after them and eating them if they get caught, which is win win for you

You can always knock a wooden spacer strip (1”x2”?) between each of those boards to prevent them from going back there and potentially hiding or (somehow) escaping. You don’t have heavy frosts by you that might shift the pavers on the ground but repeat water flow could also cause issues. My brother had 2 baby Bells Phase Lace, one of which (appropriately named “Houdini”) was insanely good at escaping. Bro found him both times fortunately, then discovered the place he was digging out -by the roots of a tree, following one that grew a distance under & out. Monitors are smart lizards, but you already know that.

Kenan you should check out Will Exotics Argus Blue. If you haven't already. He has had some amazing success taming him and he is super chill, is happy to he handled as long as he can look around. I think the main risk of being bitten is feeding time with Argus, most folk spot train them because they are so quick you don't get a second chance if they do think your hand is food. I think you might be in for a surprise and that you'll find your need to give them more space after a year and if your lucky or unlucky you might end up with them getting to 6ft. I would love to own an Argus to me the combination of hyper intelligence, trainability and that seek raptors body shape and face makes for the perfect monitor species. I live in a cold climate but hopefully one day I will have the room for an outbuilding big enough to house an argos. Look forward to seeing your updates on this species and thank you for promoting them because they are such amazing lizards.
