you think we didn't have shoe brands in soviet union? we even had our own 'American' jeans that everyone believed were imported but they were locally made and were an exact copy and even better in quality that todays jeans which are made from bad quality materials from China. Every communist country literally has every brand copy,we even had celebrities get payed for wearing them. Back then it was called patriotism for wearing local manufacturers. Especially when it came to slavic traditional dresses. Go to Cuba and see,go to todays fully sanctioned Russia, they still have every brand because it's all manufactured in Russia.Sanctions basically meant nationalization of that business which what happened in soviet union because they were also sanctioned, not because they didn't want foreign businesses that payed their fair tax.Todays communist party in Russia openly advocates small and medium businesses, the leader even has an organic strawberry farm. Idk where did this myth came from that under communism you cant do fair businesses as long as you produce something useful. People just confuse civil wars/ww2 to communism, that exact thing would have happened no matter if it was under communism or capitalism, you think Russian empire allow land ownership? It was soviet union that allowed first time in Russian history to own land. The main problem back then was starvation so soviets thought lets collectivize the farms that dont feed the population and create high prices and starve the people, you know what those farmers did? burn down their own farms, kill off the cattle, that's how holodomor happened.Ukrainian elite didn't want to feed their own population so they would rather kill off everyone out of greed. None of those farms were owned by regular people, all that land was owned by literal slave owners. Current western policy is basically pushing every country that opposed them into communism because without it you end up like Venezuela which didn't nationalize/collectivize fast enough and we see the results of western sanctions on that country because they trusted the west to supply them with basic needs like food, they had no local production therefore their economy died. Russia begged to be part of NATO till since 90s,Putin openly to western media asked to join NATO at least 6 times. He even let Bush land his Iraq war planes in Russia in hopes Russia will become part of western world, every time Russia was rejected from NATO no explanation was given,by every rule Russia was a perfect candidate and it would have meant Russia doesn't need to worry about NATO being built up on their boarders because they are a part of it. NO explanation was given why Russia can't join, now they openly admit NATO was created to destroy Iran,Russia and then attack China. All their military bases surround these 3 countries. They already did that to Libya and tried to do the same scenario in Syria. And then 2 Ukrainian presidents for years are saying we are building NATO bases, soon we will join NATO.American bases in Ukraine exist since 2014. Putin basically every MONTH since 2014 warned west, talked to western media how lets stop, remove these bases,no more weapons that can hold nukes should be placed on Russian boarder. Russia didn't care Baltics joining NATO because their population is lower than Moscow and they barely have 5k American soldiers. While Ukraine had 40million people, half of which is up to mobilization( Ukraine is now in 8th mobilization, forces students and women to mobilization),it's an invasion army and 1000km boarder that Russia would need to mobilize(like they did now) JUST to protect. Russia now in Ukraine is outnumbered by 1 to 5. Ukraine has at least a million mobilized. Also the only reason Russia still has nukes is because Americans pulled out of equal disarmament program which meant both countries watch over how they destroy all their nukes.America pulled out,Russia basically destroyed all their soviet nukes but since 2014 started making modern ones that have low fallout. They destroy kilometers of cities but dont destroy the environment.

When you have a conversation with some one. You typically come to an understanding of what needs said and what doesn't. It is called context. When some one is talking with one extreme and then another. They are separate issues. When he is talking about schools shouldn't teach a History, that may be what he wants. However, when he complains about History class not teaching things. He is referring to reality not what he wants in an ideal world in his opinion. Schools teach History very selectively and he doesn't like that. Perhaps that's why he doesn't want History taught in school. This is how you think, how you contextualuze what people say. You have to actually not be lazy and actually add up what is said instead of separate what is said in a different compartment. The statements are related, though spoken seperately. Kanye speaks like an average person, not a genius speaker like Jordan Petterson. As the listener of an average person, you have to do some work to understand. People like Jordan Petterson are smart enough to know when to contextualize and when something needs to be broken down further. Kanye is also not a teacher who speaks every day for years and years. He does not have the experience.

The problem is that one hook is a totally normal, standard hook you'd buy from any bait shop or corner store near a lake and it doesn't try to hide it's humble existence. The other hook has nine prongs each barbed in twelve different directions with individual poison micro injectors, a picture of rainbows and puppies slapped onto it and the entire thing's been dipped in MSG so you're guaranteed to swallow it. How could you ever have any guts if someone that's willing to go that far has control of the line? If you ever fight back you know that hook's gonna tear up everything you love on the way out. Is that not how you would define cancel culture, arguably one of the most defining ideas of our time functionally located entirely on one side of the spectrum? Come on now.

A couple points: - The african history revolving around slavery is an american thing, since that's what it has been historically in America. In Africa however it revolves around kings, leaders and so on. As to why it isn't taught in America I'd say it's because it's not relevant or interesting to the majority of people, just like I learned nothing about the american history at school because it's not relevant to where I live. - Considering everyone(or maybe all christians) to be jew is just a way to avoid the discussion, it doesn't matter if you consider yourself jew if the Nazi regime didn't consider you as one. - Mothers/parents aborting a pregnancy is not genocide, again Kanye is using words in a way that only he understands. Forced abortions on a specific group of people is genocide, and as far as I know, abortions in the US are not forced on people by any person or organisation, and are also not only specific to black people. He should check his definition because this is circus. But then again, I might be the clown here for thinking Kanye would make sense.

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood and wanted to use her organization to abort black people out of existence in America. She was a pro-Nazi eugenicist. Today, long after she's died, her mission continues. The question you have to ask yourself is: Are the people *NOW* running Planned Parenthood doing it out of the goodness of their hearts to provide a medical service... or are they (not the nurses, but the owners and operators) following in Sanger's footsteps? If you knee-jerk react and already have an answer, then you need to do more research. Encouraging African Americans to get abortions up to the point that HALF of them are not with us today sounds oddly racist to me.

him simply talking gets him canceled by a wide variety of powerful companies -> those giving orders to that powerful company rejected what he said so badly they decided to terminate all their contacts with him. The reason for this rejections and how gave the orders, up to you to speculate, but this happened. all kanye did was criticize the 'jewish media', basically the idea of 'criticizing the jews' became the worst thing ever. Did this happened because of the JEWWWWWWWS ? Maybe, but there's also a high probably it did not. The only thing we know for certain is that we have 2 possible situations: 1 - there's a group of highly powerful individuals, whom i won't mention their race, which are very thin skin and will try to destroy you the moment you mention anything bad about their racial group 2 - there's a group of highly powerful individuals, whom do not like kanye and are using a certain thin skin race as scapegoats (oh the irony) in order to try to get rid of kanye 3 - there's no group, every single company that closed tied with kanye has individually made up the decision that despite the population being like 50-50 on what he said, they are going to terminate they contacts with a high profile celebrity because they like losing money????? That's why option 3 doesn't make sense. Kanye said 'stupid shit' in the past, and it all went by. Kanye ain't the only one criticizing the jews, but those people are still fine. Heck, some of them where highly regarded democratic personalities till 2-4 years ago. Louis F something as an example. The company wasn't afraid of losing money from being associated with Kanye, heck, they are risking and are losing money right now because more people are giving credit to Kanye and starting to cut their ties with those companies. And if I can see this happening, of course the ceos could as well. So now we have only option 1 and option 2. And regardless of which one is it, he ain't that far away from being correct. Also, don't you find it funny that hitler also tried to exterminate the gays and the gypsies but you rarely or ever hear about that? there's no memorial or museum for gypsies Also don't you find funny that despite hitler killing around 6-7 million jews, causing also a world wide war which suffered casualties in the tens of millions. I think the death count is around 20-30 million for ww2. Communism's death count is over 50million in atrocious conditions for all their death counts, not simply shot on the battle field, or getting nuked by murica while you are outside drinking some sake. Yet hitler is seen as the most evil creature out there, meanwhile stalin, mao, and other communist leaders are still being well respected by a large portion of our population and we aren't saying jack shit about it? Just imagine if people were walking around with hitler shirts, as they are now walking with stalin shirts. And making the nazi salute as often as other organizations are making the red salute. And again, objectively speaking, the total death and suffering was much much much MUCH greater under the communists, yet overall society considers that to be the 'lesser of 2 evils' ? There's to much inconsistencies out there. And if you got free time on your hand and find that out, you start to speculate. As there's close to impossible to know the truth. So you say out what you think and your ideas about the past. Then everyone starts calling you a conspiracy theorist just because you decided to think for a second to what would make sense. And that's why the western society is heading towards running. The fall of a great civilization.

Its easy to say someone is bad at something when they are presented with a question they have never been asked before or even considered and don't know how to quickly respond. Especially considering I said it as I was about to leave the room. I don't recall where exactly I saw the phrase only that it was by chance I stumbled across it. Probably when I was when reading random stuff on the internet almost a decade later. The internet wasn't a thing back then when I had her class. At least not for average consumers. That we need to draw wisdom and learn from our shared world history, and nothing beyond that. We cannot keep looking backwards and become enraged about things done decades, centuries, ect. We all need to move on from the emotions the past can dredge up. There are many lessons to be learned from the mistakes we as a species have made. Recognize what was done, speak the truth of it, understand why things happened the way they did. Know why what happened was wrong, and think of what we could have done to avoid the outcome entirely so we dont end up in the same place again further down the road. Stop reacting in emotion and start thinking logically and rationally. Edit: fixed spelling, and awkward sentences 😅 Edit#2: but I'm not Kanye 🤷‍♀️

Comparing the holocaust to abortions is such a ridiculous thing to even put up for debate. even if it was comparable in the way where abortion would mean letting the baby be born, then torturing it, not feeding it, putting it to work in abominable conditions, gassing them... then MAYBE he'd have ground to stand on.

Asmon makes a good point about history. It's a well-known quote regarding war that history is written by the victors but there's also regional variations and if the truth doesn't match up with political ideals or agendas certain parts can be changed or missed. The Americans thinking that they stopped WW2 was a good point. Following WW1 America had a policy of isolationism, refraining from getting involved in conflicts or taking sides. It took them years to even start lending equipment and resources to Britain and France and then they eventually started lending some before going on to create the lend lease program to give out a lot more. If it wasn't for Pearl Harbor America may well not have gotten directly involved in the war. America did nothing for 2 years during WW2 until they were attacked. The same applies to us British we just hear about Flanders, the Somme, D-day and other British battles and whilst the Somme was one of the bloodiest battles of the war the reality is that 90% of Hitler's troops died during Op Barbarossa (The invasion of the Soviet Union) but as the Soviet Union was also regarded as an enemy of the West this fact is lost on history books on both sides of the pond. Also, British history books don't represent the number of Indians, Sikhs and other countries and minorities that were fighting on behalf of them. When it comes to history it's important to look at a number of different sources and see what people outside your nationality say about it so you can get a balanced, unbiased opinion, especially as history has a funny way of repeating itself and if we don't learn lessons from our past we'll never learn from our mistakes
