That girl will always remember the biker who helped her. 50 years ago I was walking my dog and a man I didn't know started walking along and talking. His conversation started making me uncomfortable but I was soooo young and did 't know how to get rid of him. I didn't want to go home while he tagged along, and suddenly a guy called out to me and asked where I'd been, my mother was looking for me. The creepy guy left, my rescuer walked with me a short way and said he could tell something wasn't right. 50 years later I still remember him with gratitude.

Yes, my heart felt like it was going to burst. That was incredibly moving. I love children and so much way more after having my own. I kept hoping someone would pick up that little angel and comfort her too. At the same time I realize how weird things can get in today's world. My mother in-law was a wonderful, caring, and generous person ( Yes, I know, that's unusual in itself for a son in law to think LOL) but about 10 yrs ago (she's gone now) she bought some clothing for a little girl from a needy family at her church. I don't know the exact circumstances, I was not there, but she brought the kid into one of the church rec area restrooms to try on, size a dress. All hell broke loose. Even the friggin pastor severely scolded the poor woman according to one of my MIL's friends/churchgoer. My wife had to literally hold me back from going to his house and beating his ass to the curb, never liked him, I "sized" him up as a con man the first time I met him, but that's beside the point and another story. Anyway, I only learned of this event when me and wife went over to her house that evening and she was utterly broken, devastated; also horrified anyone, moreover her church and spiritual community, could possibly think this way of her. She nearly had a nervous breakdown and came very close to us taking her to the hospital. I'll never forget it...and as much as I am often so tempted to ask if I can pick up and hold a cute baby or comfort, play, show love, compassion, and positivity to a toddler or younger child that I see in public if the situation is in some context, I don't mean walk up to a kid in the street LOL you simply cannot do that or even ask without starting people to whisper about you. Kind of sucks, but I do understand it obviously. It is wrong to be offended to because children MUST be taught stranger danger, it can mess it up to have them trusting a complete stranger with intimacies! I miss that so incredibly much, my daughter being 13, I honestly miss holding her enveloped in my arms, swinging her, shit like that, you know what I mean. These twisted, sick, evil scum have really destroyed many things for us and that ideal world is gone (apparently it existed in the 50s because my MIL should have known better I suppose). No one needs to be accused of something so foul and horrible, it's too bad. Now, really she should have known better, I admit that. But this woman was really old school type of naive and innocent. This is unfathomable to someone like her, the very notion sickened her to the core. It was really an awful and bizarre day.

I assume bad communication or disobediance. I wouldn't think the parents are careless with their kids, I think it's more likely they got mixed up and next thing they know, they got separated. Kids are notoriously slippery and if you noticed the mom had 2 other kids with her for a grand total of 4. Neither that boy or his sister seemed to really make a big fuss about anything so he probably didn't call out when they got lost. No lie though when the dude recording went for a brisk walk looking for the parents I thought he was about to beat the shit outta someone lol.
@KittyMax972 жыл бұрын
Little kids slip away sometimes it wasn’t like she didn’t notice they were gone or neglected them, unfortunately it happens. Also calling it “disobedience” is weird. Kids can end up getting distracted or even think they’re following their family but it turns out they followed someone else. Calling your child listening to you “obeying “ is creepy and a red flag. That word eludes to you ruling over them with intimidation and acting like they’re your servants, instead of loving them and trying to keep them safe. (Yes I also have a problem with parents making their kids call them sir or ma’am, because why don’t you care enough about your kids to allow a personal loving relationship.) And no I’m not a parent, but I am a teacher and you can tell when you are the only support system they have.

The dude was absolutely blasted on drugs, and then you wonder "how a man can get enjoyment from making women feel that way", as if that was what was remotely on display. People that blasted are incapable of setting out to do anything, and the "common" sick joys like torment revenge or power tripping simply can't occur to them, it's way outside their realm. He was probably pursuing some kind of mental illusion based on the pink pony or whatever he saw. Not to downplay the horror, but I wanted to point out you're inventing something based on something entirely different. Usually when someone does that and injects gender into it, it's because of bias, so it bothers me. You know why some *people* get enjoyment out of tormenting others, either because they're weak and it makes them feel powerful, or because they think it's deserved. Why then would you say you don't know why? You also know very well that both sides are monsters on the tormenting front.
