@jimbranscomb43503 жыл бұрын
I am impressed that Elizabeth, an opera singer, classically trained actually has enough of a sense of humor to lampoon herself. I am a classically trained musician, trombone and bass, did tons of orchestra and musical theatre. I walked away from classical because so many of the "musicians" had no sense of humor, I applaud you.
@joshuawelink31513 жыл бұрын
That came to my mind, too. But it's not only the musicians, it's also the "fans" of classical music I had some strange experiences with... Like this one: I've been sitting on the floor of the platform, waiting for my train to come. I had my nylon six string with me and was playing some classical pieces while waiting. Some snobs walked by and ranted how I dare to play this music in such clothes (I was wearing a worn out jeans with holes along the legs and a shirt of a punk rock band). But - like Elizabeth - there are always some cool people around in classical music. I really enjoy her work here on youtube and I'm always amazed of the way her videos open up new points of view on what I do, am and love for almost 24 years now: music!
