They need to bring the arts back to all high schools.
@thisislogout2 жыл бұрын
No, they have no need or want to bring it back. The Industry picks and chooses who they want to be "stars". 99% of them are related to or already know someone in the business. They can easily create tracks on a computer for these new "artists". It's a whole new ball game.
@HypnoticHollywood2 жыл бұрын
@@thisislogout Everything you said is false...unsigned artists don't get deals because they're related to or already know someone and they don't get picked to be stars by the industry. Today's artists make themselves stars on social media, then label deals follow.

Still in shock.... Can't shed a tear yet. Afraid I won't be fully ok for a minute... U have to be ok with his whole as a philanthropist and Musician/Artist/ICON.. I have been a Prince Admirer since 9 years of age when I saw him perform at the Gary, Indiana Genesis Center in '81 on the Controversy Tour... At 9 y.o. you can see GENIUS when it's front of you. Just can't describe what it was just in little kid AWE, especially growing up around music and being in bands from elementary to high school marching band..

@@apostlej.k.diamond4119 When a musician who you’ve listened to for the majority of your life and whose music is in your soul, it’s extremely hard to say goodbye. In 1997 a singer songwriter who I had listened to since the 60’s and whose music always lives within me passed away. It still makes me so sad. She also wasn’t old and the potential music that she could have given us is forever lost. I’m referring to Laura Nyro. She also was a true genius.

I'll never forget the day I discovered Prices' music. I'm from Switzerland and I was travelling on a Greyhound bus to New York. My neighbour on the bus was listening to music and he was a really cool guy. He lent me his headphones because he wanted me to listen to this great guy singing. He'd also asked me if I'd heard of a singer called Prince and when I said ‘no’ he was so shocked. In those days, we listened to music on what was called a ‘Walkman’, which worked with audio cassettes. I was literally blown away! I remember that scene like it was yesterday. I felt like I was listening to a superhuman genius.
