Watching the ad for about 4 weeks convinced me to have the my issues checked out. The visit ended up putting me inn the hospital. Heart rate between 35 and 40 had a pacemaker put in. Have lost nearly 50", feeling much better. Thank you Mr. Jabbar

The Today Show dropped the ball on this interview. Kareem didn’t come to talk basketball. We all know about basketball. Kareem came to talk about health issues. To be exact heart Atrial fibrillation. So many people could have benefited if the Today Show had brought in a qualified physician to help with the medical questions. Personally in this case I can care less about a basketball scoring record.

My mother suffers from A-Fib and I agree with you 100% so much more important that a scoring record. He looks disappointed, but not shocked when they just skip the important issue and go right to talking about Basketball.

Kareem was amazing but he was 1-22 for his career from 3 so that really changed nothing for him scoring wise. He’s also said he would of always gone to UCLA all 4 years bc he loved his mentor Coach Wooden and college life LeBron going at 18 after HS doesn’t change anything either.

AFib sucks glad Kareem is better it doesn't go away unless you treat it with an ablation procedure but that isn't 100% he is probably on blood thinners like Eliquis and he probably had a cardioversion if his heart was out of rhythm.
