*Story 1:* What the hell? Whatever gave this crazy karen the idea that it's okay to throw a temper tantrum on the ground because she doesn't like what OP said. Good for OP for keeping his cool in all this.

Story 1: Good grief, i feel bad for the husband here.... being married to that. At least he was a bit level-headed and understood what the OP was talking about throughout this. I have no idea why that dumb Karen would be having a tantrum like that. If it were me, i would've just walked out of there. Don't need to tolerate that. Story 2: Wow, 4 hours?? OP's patience level here is legendary. Just pay the fine and learn to be better with your car and driving. This is all the Karens fault here, both for running out of gas, and for her awful attitude. Too bad they couldn't charge her double. Story 3: Yeah i would 100% be wanting an investigation and security footage of this daycare place too. They sound very neglectful, especially if they immediately put the blame on the parents. They also dont sound like very nice people either. If you kid doesnt want to take part in some game or activity, then you shouldn't force them to. OP is not over-reacting in the least. Story 4: Uggh, regulars like Howard are the absolute worst, and they definitely aren't worth the trouble and aggrevation. Need to remember the 4 words of "Right To Refuse Service"...especially for someone like Howard. They only go to places like this solely to cause issues. If the managers have already told him not to come back, and he still does, then they need to call the cops and get him charged with tresspassing, and maybe even harassment. Story 5: Yeah.... this is how you get your dog and yourself attacked. This Karen is a complete idiot. If the OP said, the dog doesnt like meeting many other dogs, that should've been your cue to just go about your day. Why then insist on approaching? Good on the OP for standing guard here and telling this old Karen off. People just really need to learn to leave people alone.

The lady that ran out of petrol, yeah it happens, we all misjudge our fuel gauge sometimes, but you can hear the engine stop and feel the car start just rolling and you have a chance to at least TRY and get off the road. The last time I ran out of petrol (I had a lot of big expenses in one hit and had no money for petrol), I finally had $20 to put in the tank and was on my way to the petrol station when my engine cut out while I was in the middle of an intersection. I didn't QUITE make it to the verge but I was pretty close. I immediately put on my hazard lights when the engine cut and I got out as soon as the car stopped to try and work it out. Luckily for me, the car behind me stopped just ahead of me and the coupled helped me roll the car the rest of the way but even if they hadn't, I wouldn't have just taken off, I would've called for help, which is what I did In regards to the last story, that kind of Karen is one of the many anxieties I have when I walk my dogs alone. I have a shoulder injury and a knee injury and I'm not strong enough to stop my mastiffXstaffy from ripping into some less well built dog or to stop any medium or larger dog from ripping into my pugX. Neither of my dogs are dog friendly, they love people (the pug absolutely adores kids) but they both hate other dogs. The reason for this is on the staffy's first ever trip out of the house to his first vet visit, a huge (labrador cross I think) tried to have a go at him, a puppy barely the size of my boot that was already showing the standard staffy anxiety, is confronted by an aggressive dog whose head is bigger than he is, and this is the second dog he's met outside of blood relatives (the first being my pug). The pug, however, used to love other dogs when I first had him. And then my neighbour's dog jumped the fence between our houses and came very very close to unaliving him (his collar saved his life, always have a collar on your dogs for their own safety). Since then, he's slowly gone from being excited to see another dog but also scared, defensive and angry at them the closer they got all the way to where he is now where if he sees another dog, he's immediately on the aggressive with his big bad protector growling and barking alongside him. And any b-word that tries to tell me that they know their dog and it'll be fine, the dogs will all love each other, let them play, that person will be screamed at to get away from me and my boys and I will happily boot their dog in the face if it comes within my reach somehow

Story 1: We had this Karen who threw a temper tantrum at the restaurant where I worked as a hostess. She thought she and her party of six (counting her) could show up without a reservation. I politely explained to her we were booked solid, and if her name wasn’t in the reservation registry, we couldn’t serve her party. After demanding to talk to my manager, he told her the same thing. She literally sat down on the floor and shouted “I’m not eating anywhere else!”. She closed her eyes, held her breath, and crossed her arms, her friends tried to get her to stand up and leave, my manager threatened to call the police if she didn’t leave, so she got up with her eyes closed, arms folded, pretending to hold her breath, but stamping her feet loudly as she left with her group.

This is the problem with today. Op in 3 story your child as no discipline. The same way she runs away from her child care she will run away from home and you will find an excuse of why she did so. Your child ran away while the lady was talking to your son yet you think its their fault, are those child care ladies even fast enough to keep up with your child. You need to infact teach your child better manners, you are enablers and this will be the start of her running away 😊
