Part of the reason the revival cast recording of Miss Saigon has a special place in my heart - it was recorded live during a show - the energy is just different from a cast recording where they're standing in a booth.

So true about the challenges of recording vs stage performance. I find recording much more difficult then live performance.

Most of her songs in this show were “ belters “. I have seen her since and was really good with more variety in the songs and within the songs.

Hopefully this is the second one I still need to see Peter's version and your interpretation of it funny how people don't really understand what a hit was back in the seventies unlike today everyone listened to the radio and there were limited selection of them also so based on sales doesn't really describe what the public actually wanted so I really disagree with the Celine made it a hit it was already a classic before her and I remember telling friends that Celine was a great technique singer but Eric put emotion in the song she didn't do ty again
