Disappointed hearing Ricky dismiss Bottom (with Rik Mayall & Ade Edmondson) as it was straight up hilarious jokes, expressive and varied comedic acting, and anarchic slapstick, from two extremely likable chaps. Bottom was legendary

I think a lot of people would be hesitant to continue seeing someone if they opened up about being seriously ill on a first date. It's not a very nice thing, or perhaps a very fair thing, but I think it's probably quite true nonetheless.

I have been saying this fpr years... Despite his takes being funny when you look at them honestly, most of them reveal really cold blooded person, not in evil sort of way but in calculated, robot kind of way where logic(his twisted one) rules, emotions arent involved at all.

If you never ever see this person again, you'll never feel sorry about this person, never ever have to be part of her (potentially fatal) illness. It's YOUR choice to suffer with her. Why in the fuck would YOU choose to suffer along with a complete stranger? And why would you pick that specific one instead of anyone else?

To be fair to Karl, he apparently gives a lot to charity so i wouldn't take the money comment too seriously. The main point is clearly just the fact they wouldn't be together long so it's naturally worth finding someone else who you can spend the rest of your life with. I assume by "spending money" he surely meant "splashing out" as you do to really impress your date and win their affection over. Not just the normal amount you'll be spending once you've been together long enough. I think he slipped in the money to just try enhance his point but that backfired on him. lol And since that's the main thing Ricky was having a go at him for, i'm sure he probably wouldn't go for someone who's dying either. And i doubt Steve would like wasting his money. lmao
