I hadn't found your channel yet when you played spiderman and Miles Morales, I've only been watching your stuff for a few months now actually but I did love all the spidey videos and miles videos and with you and your playthrough I had the most enjoyment watching, (and was also heartbroken when you played the DLC and the audio didn't record) I have loved watching a ton of your content and now I can't believe you're starting Spiderman 2 as well! This is gonna be an amazing playthrough for sure One thing I wish I could've said while you played the first 2 games was that you did play on performance since viewers did ask for you to play on it, and I also noticed that you loved the reflections on buildings as you played I wish I could've told you to try the "Performance RT" mode, it doesn't run at 60fps but it does run better than 30fps and adds ray tracing to all the reflections, so it would look even more amazing when you're swinging around and can see the true reflection of New York and yourself on the side of a shiny building! If you end up preferring a perfect 60fps then you can always go back to it but I would appreciate it if you gave "Performance RT" a try! I'm gonna continue with your video now, so excited to see what you think of this opening!!

1:53:52 Here is the biggest combat tip for all these Spider-Man games that no one bothers to tell you: The quickest way to defeat enemies without having to constantly hit them, is to web them up, uppercut them in the air, then press the jump button to kick them in whatever direction you want to stick them to a wall or off a building instantly. Doesn’t even have to be in that particular order, that’s the beauty of this move. Do it from anywhere (you don’t have to be close to a wall or anything), enemy gets defeated, rinse and repeat on the next one. You can even incorporate the web swing kick while you’re at it

Whenever you swipe on the controller touch pad and display the app thingy, it displays on the bottom a small icon of both peter and miles indicating you can switch between them. You can switch anytime between the characters unless you are playing specific story missions.

After the FFX playthrough and now SM2 i'm feeling very spoiled for content. I'm so hyped for this playthrough I'm practically vibrating. The wait is finally over, let the awesomeness begin. Don't worry not knowing anything about certain characters, the game will tell you everything you need to know plus Insomniac tends to changes things from previous character/story arcs. I went from the Spider-Man “trilogy” to FFVII: Rebirth, and I tried swinging and climbing shit with Cloud, lol! Can you imagine how different the game would be if you at least climb and leap up shit in FF games like Miles and Peter?
