This is what happens in Ekadaivavishwasikal parayunnathum. They say, when speaking of god, we are speaking of a moolakaaranam. So, how can a multiple be moolakaaranam? Do you know that some people believe that there are many many gods as this single cause and they created different worlds - and we live in one of them. Each belief system looks at others with contempt. The distinction is whether you " believe " or " seek evidence ". A person brought up in multiple gods wonders how on earth anyone can believe in single god. Someone brought up in single god wonders how can someone believe in multiple gods. If the nurse misplaces a baby, his/her beliefs can change ( as like which resulted in a court case in Assam where a Muslim and Hindu parents babies of "different faiths" ( as if babies have faiths ). Unless and until we strive enough to come out these mindsets, we can ridicule each other and live in fool's paradise. And our world will see these chain reactions of wars, genocides and ethnic cleansing - and to the worst every perpetrator of violence and ethnic cleansing will keep thinking they are right because they are correcting historical wrongs perpetrated against " their people/nation/religion/caste/tribe. For me personally, what helped me to come out of the dogmas is a crystal clear understanding of evolution as against it's ill conceived childhood questions like " Do you think we are evolved from monkeys? ( Evolution does not say that ). We all came out of Africa around 100 thousand years back. We settled in remote lands like Australian aborigines and some South Indian populations along the Eastern seacoast - mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. - around 70,000 years back. We have had three distinct waves of migrations from Africa ( genetically same but morphologically ( skin colour, body shape etc based on where they settled and how easy/difficult for them to assimilate Vitamin D. Now, we don't need fossils to know the truth about evolution - it is written in our genes and bloods. Twenty years back, a student would have failed in the examination if he/she answers there is DNA outside of cell nucleus in Humans. Now, we know that there is DNA in mitochondria. The significance of this discovery is that the mitochondrial DNA is inherited only through mothers. For example, your mitochondrial DNA is from your mother, hers from her mother and likewise. That means, men does not come into lineage calculation at all. So, we can trace the human lineage. All the studies across the Globe including from India traces mitochondrial DNA from Africa. Y chromosomes are only in males. So, following it, we can now study the male lineage. Mothers have no part in this. This Y chromosome lineage in every part of the world including India traces the male lineage to Africa. Then there are innumerable other studies clearly confirming the scientific truth that supports this amazing process of change. Weaving together the many threads of modern work in genetics, paleontology, geology, molecular biology, and anatomy demonstrates this "indelible stamp" of evolutionary processes. Fossils are outdated literally and figuratively. All these studies are so much to mention here. But, if we read books or even listen to videos like " Journey Of Man; A Genetic Odyssey " - available on KZbin, " The Incredible Human Journey" we can at least a peek into the evidence based scientific approach to the question - where we came from. Our so called prides and prejudices would wither away and we would be basking in the pure light of Universal Love and Respect. Thank you for reading. Not a monologue. It should be a dialogue. And most of all it is about waking up and awakening.

In Norway, Until 2012 parliamentary officials were required to be members of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Norway, and at least half of all government ministers had to be a member of the state church. As state church, the Church of Norway's clergy were viewed as state employees, and the central and regional church administrations were part of the state administration. Members of the Royal family are required to be members of the Lutheran church. On 1 January 2017, Norway made the church independent of the state, but retained the Church's status as the "people's church". While Kerala has a govt. "independent" of the religions from the beginning. Many communist countries could not progress much even though they didn't uphold a god or religion. One of the major reasons for Chinese progress is - it could become the factory of American corporates in a timely, efficient way. The concept of progressive, social-democratic process is the key, In Scandinavian countries and in Germany, the church also was/is a main part of it. Bhutan has a better happiness index, though it is predominantly a Buddhist country. Everything is an idea, religious views are an idea, so as atheistic/agnostic/view - also an idea, and we must uphold progressive views and scientific temper. Different views do not need to fight each other or do not need to convince each other. They just need to work with empathy. Atheists deserve empathy, so as the religious and people of various religions- they deserve (may be more) empathy . The idea of "The void of god" should not become a god, as it happened in some autocratic countries. Nobel laureate Amartya Sen said, development as freedom and he empirically proved in his economics. When skills, knowledge, ideas flow freely without fears the nation will prosper. India's "ancient" caste system (one of the world's longest slavery system) was such a barrier of fear. And historically we had many other fears and barriers. In the new India, there are many such fears. Such fears and barriers take away GDP growth of 3-4 percentages. Hopefully, there will be meaningful measures from the Government to allay such fears and break such barriers.
