I met Kathy at one of the Elvis Conventions in Philadelphia, Pa back in1978. She was a very nice person and great voice. No wonder Elvis had her on the tours.

@ron...Kind of like Priscilla and her married man Mike Stone? Stone's wife was pregnant but that didn't stop Prissy. Elvis had told Kathy that Priscilla was living in LA and that they had an open marriage. By 1970, they were no longer living together. Kathy eventually broke it off due to her guilt.

We all know she was cheating, that began as soon as Lisa Marie was born, which was 10 months after the marriage. However, I thought she and Elvis were still together until 1972, before she took off with Mike Stone. Geez, that marriage was on the skids just as soon as it began. @andrewmiller4885... you are very welcome. The marriage was due to fail. Vernon, his cook, Marty Lacker, Red West, etc have all stated Elvis married Prissy because he had to. He cried the night before their wedding. If you would like their statements I would be happy to follow up.

I would very much like to hear what Elvis's staff, friends, or family members had to say and thank you so much for your reply. There has been so much contradictory information out there about Priscilla. Many claim Elvis wanted Cilla back and was ringing her at all hours of the night right up until the day he died, Ginger Alden the girl he was engaged to just before his death denies those claims that were made by Cilla and regurgitated by the public. I would greatly appreciate any further information. Thank you.

She started her first affair just 3 short months after Lisa Marie was born with her dance instructor. Then, she went after a married man with 2 children. She cheated on Elvis throughout most of their marriage. Also, she has been paid dearly for her marriage to Elvis.

I agree,she was very careful and loved him truly. He used to talk a lot with her sharing feelings and long conversaton about all Elvis's problems. When their romance ended, they remained in touch and during his sad final days she remained with him listening to his physical and psycological troubles, trying to cheer him up. What Priscilla didn't do.

I'm not sure if Kathy ever missed a show but I'm certain Elvis would've missed her voice greatly if she did. On many recordings, it sometimes sounded like an angel was singing in the background. Elvis and Kathy were also true friends.

Examples, stripper music, the see through blouse, turning things purple, etc. She begged the band members to ask him to stop.

Bill has the high voice. LOL. Kathy is beautiful & with a great voice. I wish I started this a long time ago. I'm an Elvis Impersonator like you're never seen before. I sing and play the bass guitar at the same time to Elvis songs while also looking like Elvis. No one can do what I do. I should be in Vegas or Hawaii. I make a lot of people get into the music. If someone manages me to make me a star putting on shows, we'd get rich. I made 3 Elvis song videos so far. I'll do more & get better. THX

Vernon said Elvis considered marrying Kathy at one time but unfortunately she tried to make him jealous by flirting with other men and band members. Elvis could not stand any other man near a women he considered his. Kathy blew it, with Elvis he felt he could not trust her. Elvis did not marry Linda Thompson for the same reason she cheated on him when she felt he was cheating all the time. The real story I think is that Elvis loved women and to talk and eat and cuddle but intercourse was too special to have with just anyone or a girl who would compare him to other men. Elvis was very insecure that he would not be the sex god woman made him out to be also he was ill and he would die of embarrassment if he had an accident and a woman would laugh at him. Poor sweet Elvis. I do not believe much of what Pricilla says, she trying to rewrite history as his widow. She dissed him at his most venerable times and hit him up for more money in the very end. Pricilla waited and waited until Ann Margret threatened her then a quick marriage and a kid then leaves him. Oldest game in the book. Madonna complex my ass!

Why on earth would she do that. That's just rumors. I'm really good friends with her. Kathy would have never ever had done that. Kathy did not want to get married until she was a certain age, At this time she did not want too.. Elvis and Kathy were great friends. They were very close. They were both there for each other . Helping each other with when they had relationship problems. They dated for 8-9 months straight and then off and on from 1970-1977. Kathy was there for Elvis when no one else would.
