I also had to do sketchy stuff to remove the sprocket nut. I used a break bar with a one meter pipe. i had to block the rear wheel with a flat key in the sprocket. i boat the motorcycle from an old man he never change the chain set since he boat it in 2005. Took me a long hour to remove it.

Why after replacement you was at the end of the thensioner? Did you choose good chain(108 links)?

You are a butcher pal. All you need was a breaker bar on the sprocket nut. Forget a hot air blower. No effect. Get yourself a set of proper tools . You have installed the chain too tight. When you sit on the bike it will tighten further. You need at least 2.5 cm of play with a rider on the bike.
