I actually borrowed that one but normally i have just a generic pelican lightweight yak from Academy nothing special. I like them to be at 40lbs or under because i carry it alot and sometimes drag through shallow rivers.

You are not allowed to kayak in Landa Park, the Game Warden has cited several kayakers in the past. Signs every where. Its an environmental protected area. You can fish from shore, you cant swim there no dogs allowed in the water.

I have never ran into a game warden while kayaking that body of water so i don't know that they would issue a citation. I have ran into paddle boarders and paddle boats many times. I also see dogs and people wading at the park by the bridge and many people fishing so i dont see how its environmentally protected.
