I think that's just his humor. Plus he isn't really a KZbin type guy. From the start he really didn't even want to do it but seen the need. Go watch his first few videos and you may understand his negativity. But I can see where a person wouldn't like Dave just for that. TBH I think is something with guys named David. Every David, including my father, is a negative nut job, in my opinion of course lol. I think the heart is in the right place but there mouth and brain, not so much lol.

That was a beautiful morning on the water. We caught some really nice blues, a flathead and an anchor. Nice to give Catfish Dave a pat on the back. As long as you don’t bark or make duck noises he is friendly. Thanks for the trip Justin.

You know I had a stroke 8 years ago But before my stroke there is no way I set in a kayak and pull big fish in like you do lol My hats is off to you and I enjoy watching you fish for big catfish as well as Catfish Dave he is a hoot lol... But I have to have a bigger boat because of my disability so I will stick with my pontoon But I have learnt a lot watching you and Catfish Dave and the fish you catch. Hate to hear your having trouble with your old towne. Your spot on about the bite. Saturday morning session 7 blues with one pig Saturday evening 6 blues with 2 pigs. Sunday morning 8 blues all fun sized. Watts bar is finally getting back to normal.

I was out fishing on my boat and I usually through my baits out on bottom, but I remember how you always fish with you baits suspended off the bottom and figured I'd try it. Using your method I caught my PB blue cat that weighed 35-40 pounds.

That water looks so pretty and slick. On a hot summer day like that I’d have swim shorts on and an extra set of clothes to change into so I could hop in when I get hot! Lol! Only downside is that it’s a yak and hard to get in and out of without flipping unless you had some thing like out rigger pontoons on atleast one side

Used to live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and caught a couple giant blues never weighed them either just measured and both were over 48 inches. Now living in WV and blues are basically non existent unless I drive an hour to the Ohio River. You remind me of home man.. and the people were just like you. Honest, fair and wanting to be fishing. Glad you Made it past the spawn. I’ve always had the most success in September.

So I was just fishing in AK, and they’ve instituted a rule to put rock fish caught in over 50 feet back. They’re using a weight to get them back to depth with a quick release. The ADF&G biologist told me their eyes and stomach go back and the have 90% survival.
