Please please please just be kind to yourself. Life is hard enough without second guessing and worrying about oversharing. You're talking about the realities of life many of us not only understand but totally empathise with because we might be in similar situations. Never apologise for trying to make some money - we all have to do what we have to do to keep a roof over our head. Living in a house on your own is really hard when you're the sole breadwinner and billpayer, believe me, I know! Personally I really enjoy your content whether it's sponsored, shorter, non plant focused etc. We support the channel by watching because we like you, can identify with you, and you keep it real. Never apologise for being you 😀 sending hugs and support. Showing your vulnerability doesn't make you weak or less than anything, it shows you're human and that's why you connect with so many people x

Chris you two are my favorite plant-content creators, really awesome to see you here rooting for Kaylee! I really appreciate you guys effort and your honesty about the struggle. it really is universal (Asia here), funnily enough im currently going through the same thing as well in my field, going back to a 9-5 for some stability after almost a decade of being self employed (im in the movie industry not plants, but still).. the constant hustle to try to make thing work can be so exhausting and unpredictable to the point that its just unbearable sometimes.. but yea, it WILL work out, not because it always does but because you two are talented and hard working people, and because youre willing to do what it takes to make things work out, even if it means making some changes.. for me its a really tough pill to swallow but seeing how you two are handling it give me hope 🥲💪 Anyways.. Whatever path you two end up taking im definitely still going to follow along. We're in this together! Sending you two all the good vibes!

Something different about this gal that just keeps me coming back. It's gotta partially be the humor, but I think a lot of it has to be how relatable she tries to stay. I probably watch more of the videos that are vlpg style than I do the produced ones. The repot with me series is fantastic. Give your kitty some pets for me, can they bring them with and visit while you're there? Thankfully we have video calling and such so you and your kitty can see each other, as long as that's a thing where you're going? I've actually pondered about if I could ever completely sever from my current role in the future. I think for my own sanity and hermiting tendencies I'm likely to stay on two days a week to get some socializing. But I also really like the vast majority of my coworkers. Sending 🤞🏻 and 🫂

KZbin started taking a larger % from us not long ago. And they push short form content, which we make pennies on. Every content creator is struggling tbh, unless you're willing and able to be extra cringe or rage bait people 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

You’re one of the first planty channels I discovered when first starting on my houseplant journey. Sad to hear how hard times have been financially. I hope you continue to make content. I've never minded video sponsorships or ads because everyone has bills to pay and content creators should be paid for their services. Imagine getting mad at someone just because they're trying to get paid for doing their work.

Sending hugs. It's hard I can imagine working for yourself and not knowing what income you'll have month to month. I really hope things pick up. ❤

Honey you have to make your money!! Get as many sponsorships as possible. At the end of the day we love your content. 💚💚💚

Love your content! Sending lots of hugs and be kind to yourself! I have a feeling you are overthinking it, most of us barely notice the adds etc. PS! Really love the T-shirt!

Sooo…I’m pretty new to your channel. Maybe a few months? I recently got into the houseplant hobby, and I’ve learned so so much from you, and have enjoyed your content and collection. Big hugs from the US. Give yourself some grace. You’ll do great in whatever your next step will be! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Kaylee, I know you didn’t want to share the struggles you’re going through, but I want to thank you. I have been following the channel since its inception and you have been a constant inspiration for me in my Planty life. I have and continue to go through financial woes and to know others go through it makes me feel like I am not alone. Keep your head up, we are happy to support ya! Will ya have some updates for the plant shop soon? I am in the market for one of your Delta’s :) Keep chugging along, your honesty if refreshing

Sending you much love and best wishes. You just do your best. You will find solutions. I don't mind about sponsorship or if you post a bit less because you have less time. Take care of you and your pets. It will be allright ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for everything you share with us

Wow. You've quite the journey here on KZbin. I remember the very early videos. I thought: Okay, she's pretty as hell, but does she really know about plants. And know you did. :D Now, it's like watching an old friend talk about life. Things happen. I took on a part-time position to help me grow my SaaS startup. We do what we have to do. You got this! Bring in the sponsors, dial it down in frequency, remember to enjoy life a little if you can. We're not meant to work 24/7. Sending big hugs!

Sending you sooo much love. Life is hard and you can only do your best. Try to be kind to yourself. ::hugs:: (Also I'm going to school for software engineering and you're not kidding... it's a lot so be gentle with yourself there, too. You'll get back into it in no time if you go back! One day at a time 💛)

Kaylee, I've been watching your content since 2020 and have seen how much you've grown and all that you've accomplished! I always appreciate your honesty and hope you continue creating content. But if you do return to programming, I’d love to hear more about your journey there. Even though you left that job a while ago, you actually inspired me to become a software engineer myself. As a woman, it wasn't something I had imagined doing for a living until I saw someone similar to myself doing it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for that 💖

Pretty In Green is also switching up (I assume because they are also struggling to make a living in the current situation). It's just part of the wave of demand and supply. I hope you have a good future ahead of you wherever that may be and whatever you're doing.

I've had to give up on my channel, its become really obvious that making anything like a living from YT nowadays is like winning the lottery...and its a full time job. So I understand having to deal with realities. Best of luck with all the stuff you're doing.
