18:18 Fairy Tail is different form other series, other Mc usually somehow started alone early and recruit comrades along the series,but Fairy Tail isn't, when they started in early series they are already in a big group of people,that's one of the reason why Fairy Tail is unique. 29:54 It got 328 episodes,some ovas and 2 movies, you might feeling its a slow start but hey its just episodes 2, once you get into it ,you won't feel slow anymore because Fairy Tail always just get straight into it, you will understand what I meant later. I generally like the sub for things, but Fairy Tail needs to be in dub for me. There's just something about the English voices that make it for me. The one true Natsu is Todd Haberkorn. Plus, my queen Cherami Leigh plays Lucy.

Dubs usually feel a bit like they don't fit entirely with the scene, though - like wearing clothes that are just half a size too small or too big, you can make do with it, but you can't quite feel comfortable with it. In the case of dubs, they usually have to rush what they're saying to make it fit with the character animations - or they have to slow it down and make it needlessly repetitive. I haven't watched enough dubbed Fairy Tail to say if this is true specifically in this case, but as a general trend, dubs can be problematic just because direct translations are hard enough, having to translate something that also needs to fit within a certain timeframe of a scene is even harder.

OK here are some things to note - Loke is pronounced as Loki - Fairy Tail's current master is Makarov "The Giant" Dreyer. "The Giant" is basically a nickname like how Salamander is to Natsu - Fairy Tail has a crossover manga w/ the 7 Deadly Sins, where each author wrote a short special for the other's work. - The guy in his underwear just got announced for death battle - If you wondering why a dragon taught a human dragon slayer magic it's because it's basically the only magic dragons know - There will be random little creatures in the background, they are from the author's previous work Rave Master.

Fairy Tail in English is really good especially since Todd Haberkorn voice acts for natsu and he is a really amazing voice actor who has voice acted for many different animes like Fullmetal Alchemists Brotherhood, Dragon Ball Super, Ouran high School Host Club, and Soul Eater to name a few👌

so happy you started the series. it's a great series that will take you on an emotional roller coaster. to be honest sub and dub are good as others have mentioned but as a reactor, I suggest going to dub. you will miss important information if you're trying to react and talk during the show while on the sub. I would watch sub on your own time to catch stuff you miss but dub has a variety of voice actors since it's in English to reflect the characters and their personality. while the sub is strictly Japanese VA. you liked the opening songs but you will love the OST soundtracks in this series. the music makes the fights even more epic. I truly want you to sit back and enjoy the ride. more people will watch as time goes on if they see you are enjoying the show and understand the story/ plot being unveiled. you have a new subscriber and like from me. trust me as someone who has seen over 200 animes I can say this may not be the best of the best but it's still a great anime with amazing arcs. I have seen the entire series 4 times now if that's any indication.

On the sub or dub part, in my honest opinion both are good. However, there is some downsides to both of them. From what I have seen most people do not like their Japanese voices and have told me that sometimes get so unbearable that it breaks them out of their immersion, but if you watch it in dub some lines/Quotes/Chants become almost impossible to understand. Honestly, it depends more on what you want enjoyment or information. Either way, good video and I hope you enjoy and finish this series. I am kinda of new to this channel so I don't know your schedule, if you even have one, but how are you going to upload this. Once a week, every two day? Etc.

fairytail starts getting good around the 5th episode. you have to get past some of the ridiculous introductions first. this anime is in my top 5, also something they don't really specify in the anime, the more powerful the dragon slayer the worse there motion sickness is.

Okay so Fairy is completely different from any other Shonen. There is no direct MC. The main character is the entire fairy tail guild. The anime is made to get the watcher to watch the guild grow together and get stronger together and how they overcome any problem in front of them by the power of friendship and determination.

ignil is the king of fire dragons also is natsu's step father he taught Dragon Slayer magic to natsu in case another dragon try to do something to him, igneel banished cause a weird spell, one that you know about more in the future of the series, but there are only 7 dragon slayer, natsu is one of them also is a gen 1 of dragon slayer, there are gen 2 and gen 3

I watched Dub up till I got caught up and they only had subs, that was around the Grand Magic Game arc. Watched subs all the way through the Tartoraus arc, then took a hiatus after Zero as teh final season wasn't out by then. Came back and watched dubs up till I think episode 300, then back to subs. Unlike a lot of people it doesn't really matter to me if it's sub or dubs, and I have no problem interchanging between them both. Especially if I wanna watch anime, and have to do something else in the meantime so dubs really help out with me not missing anything.
