So she couldn't use her powers. 4- Loke's victory is Lucy's victory, because he is her celestial spirit. 5- The old lady is Miss. Porlyusica . She is fairy tail's medical advisor and also used to be or still is (idk) a member. Saying Loke is strong is the same as saying Lucy is strong, his strength is her strength. Spirits use their summoners magic power to remain in the world. The stronger the spirit, the more magic it takes to summon them. I believe Lucy said this within the first few episodes, when she got Plue. She said they make great pets because they take next to no magic power to summon. Don't quote me on this, it's been a while since I've seen the first few episodes. 90% sure she said this though. It was also shown with in episodes 31 - 32 that Lucy has a lot of magic power. It takes loads of magic to summon just two spirits, she managed to summoned all her spirits at once, even if it was only for a few seconds. Hell, Karen killed herself trying to summon two spirits. Just thought I'd clarify, it's not too uncommon for people to attribute the strength to her spirits and not Lucy, when in fact it is the same thing. She can only use stronger spirits because she has the magic necessary to do so.

Btw in the manga, after Mirajane unleashed her final move which was soul extinction, the move blast was so big and it can be seen by the people in magnolia, and Erza said "Mira". So yeah she knew it was mira unleashing her power

Mira basically didn't use her powers for the longest time because she was traumatised by Lisanna's death so this fight was Mirajane extremely out of practice and she still kicked ass. And just so you know, all of the Strauss siblings specialise in Takeover magic which is basically them turning into different creatures they've absorbed. Elfman = Beast Soul - Turns himself into different beasts he's absorbed Mirajane = Demon Soul - Transforms into different demons she's absorbed (all most likely absorbed in her younger days where she did more fighting)

Fairy Tail current Power Ranking: 1) G*** (by far) 2) Makarov 3) Dragon Force Natsu (can defeat guys stronger than Laxus in that state) 4) Laxus (specially with his Dragon Slayer Magic) 5) Mystogan (almost equal to base Laxus) 6) Erza (stated to be the strongest woman even later in the series) 7) Mirajane (because Mashima never said she could beat Erza) 8) Freed (I mean...he stomped most of his oponents and he fought Mirajane) 9) Natsu (he is the one who faces Laxus for the longest time.) 10) Gajeel (pretty close to Natsu but if they were to fight now, I would say it's a 55% win in Natsu's favor) 11) Gray (he is stated to be around Natsu's level but Bixrow's attacks were powerful enough to knock him out) 12) Lucy with Loke (Loke was seen as a threat by Gajeel 2 arcs ago, and he is obviously stronger than Bixrow) I don't know for sure about the rest. All we know is : - Evergreen defeated Elfman - Bixrow was stated to be stronger than Evergreen by Laxus but defeated Gray by cheating and even Happy knew Gray was supposed to be stronger than him - Juvia gave Gray fight during the Phantom Lord Arc - Alzac defeated Jet and Droy at the same time but was crushed by Freed) - Macao and Wakaba are close in power

Jellal is waaaaaay stronger than Erza lmao. Half of his power was enough to make him a Wizard Saint. Natsu needed the Dragon Force and to eat an Etherion-empowered Lacrima to face him and he would have lost if Jellal was able to use Abyss Break in the end. *SPOILERS* Jellal is stronger than Jura (the 10th Wizard Saint) who was the strongest in Team Light in the Oracion Seis Arc.

@@bks31599 So what ? Jellal would have defeated her anyway. Erza is weaker than the 10th Wizard Saint while Jellal was above the 10th rank with only half of his power. Jellal was nerfed too. When Erza seems to defeat him, he is only faking and had access to only half of his power since Siegrain, who was the part with Jellal's main Magic, the Heavenly Body Magic, was manipulating the Council. Even when he fought Dragon Force Natsu, Jellal had to hold back to not destroy the Tower. When he understood he had no chance without his full power, he kicked Natsu away and was about to destroy the entire Tower of Heaven, Natsu and Erza with Abyss Break. If Erza's earlier attack didn't stop him, he would have been the winner. And Erza was impressed af by Natsu's Dragon Force. So yeah, Jellal is waaaaaay stronger than Erza and maybe even Laxus.

Well, Mirajane is an S Class for a reason. And to tell you, realistically, Mirajane is so much more powerful than Erza if she hadn't stopped doing missions. If she didn't stopped, she had continued to become stronger consuming demons and accumulate powers. And that if Erza isn't in the main cast squad, that is.
