When it comes to who I loved growing up, Raph was the coolest. But after reading the IDW collections 1-12, Mikey has to be my favorite for his unending compassion for those around him. And no spoilers for those who haven't read The Last Ronin, but the Ronin's story is maybe the best of all the turtles, go read it if you haven't and enjoy the renaissance of the TMNT we're living in right now

I really wanted one of these when they were showing them off. Unfortunately I missed the first batch and haven't payed much attention since. I think the pill buttons are a really sick idea. I have a few canadian friends who asked me about stick/leverless stuff knowing I have a few and I always tell them to check out Mavercade.

Hey it's the hitbox you recommended me! I ordered the Haute 42 S16 btw! It was the only one available in my country and only $60! Great hitbox, I've been playing SF6 and Tekken 8 with it and practising combos.

Thanks for the video. 😊 This controller layout looks to be very ergonomic and I like the fact it is enough wide. However I don't see an additional USB port for the PS5 compatibilty. I currently have a Haute 42 T16 that is based also on a GP 2040 firmware. I use a Mayfmash magic boot 1.1 and it works on my PS5. Do you know if this controller have also this option ? 🤔

Firstly, thank you for watching/commenting! Secondly, Mavercade dropped a batch like a week ago, and I think that's sort of how these small places try to operate: frequent restocks, but they can't open it up orders indefinitely so they don't get overwhelmed. If you need one, they have a notification alert you can sign up for to let you know the moment those restocks go live.

@@HushMySweet1 Thanks for looking at my comment. I signed up for email alerts and it doesn't work/notify. Yes I talked to Will personally and he gave me a nebulous ETA, only to find out from Twitter that they were restocked for like a second before they were all sold out again. Based on Twitter they won't be available anytime soon since he's anticipating the 03's to be out in the summer and I'm waiting for an 04-S. At least it's not like the ergoarcade situation where the product actually never released again.

I hope the use of a machined aluminum case becomes more common. We have the Mpress Nano (when available), Haute42 M Series and of course the Razer Kitsune. What else am I missing with an aluminum case that is available? We have to pay a premium for most of these so we should expect (and get) premium build quality. I'll certainly be buying this one once they are back in stock. I'm a bit undecided on this one versus their 12 button model. I wish they made a 13 button version similar to what available in the Haute42 M13.

Did you see the video right before this one? That controller is also a hefty metal enclosure (similar to this, but a fair bit smaller) but the button layout might be more in line with what you want (if these cool pill-shaped buttons on the Brawler aren't doing it for ya). But yeah, metal is cool and less common than it probably should be. Thanks for watching.

I know Snarzy on reddit is doing work on various fightpads. I don't know if they plan to make the files free on github, or if the whole thing would be beyond a quick 3d printing and PCB assembly service. Maybe it is worth inquiring to them if you want something specific.

Grabbed one of these last year and am just loving the design. Blows me away how the extra left pinky button and thumb cluster setup has not become the norm. Bonus points for making the pinky buttons so easy to use, because let's be real, I was never using that bottom right one on the standard leverless layout lol.

The layout looks pretty cool. 2024 is gonna be wild with all the new layouts coming out. As for turtles, it's gotta be Raph in the comics and series, but Donatello is the best pick for the NES game for that sweet sweet bo reach. :)

Yeah, all-button controllers can work well for all sorts of fighting games. The official Hit Box channel even has execution videos on things like Tekken's wavedash mechanic. Thanks for watching!

Yes, the buttons are all black. They are nylon key caps and I think they are only available in black (unless you want some colored 3d printed ones)

I think it's just a case of unfortunate timing for these last couple. The Mavercade ones go in and out of stock (and you can turn on Mavercade notifications to be alerted), but obviously I want viewers to be able to get controllers, so it's not ideal. However, consider that a lot of the ones I review are smaller mom and pop-style places and can't turn on infinite add-to-cart or they'd be overwhelmed. Thank you for watching all the same, and I hope to showcase a few soon which are definitely in-stock. (But check back in on Mavercade if this is the one you want)
