Anchors are super easy! All you do is drill a hole around the same size and hammer them in. Then screw like normal! Google and phone calls with my dad were how I survived living alone for the first time!

The metal in the wall, you should laugh yourself happy that you hit. It was most likely a cabel or wather pipe protector. They put them up inside the wall to protect you from drilling into them. If it wassent there it could have been a electric cable you drilled into. There is a took to find cables in a wall, buy it❤

Keegan Invest on your closet, its for your use and its your place, i know it can be expensive, but it can be even more expensive to repair it if some of your DIY projects dont go good. I wasn’t a handy person around the house until I bought a house. My dad is teaching me how to do repairs and maintain around the house. It would be cheaper for you and better for you. If you started learning it’s really not that hard. I had pay people for something before, but now when I think about it, I could’ve did it myself

Condo* you own it so you don’t have to use command strip apartment style things anymore to hang things. They make picture hanging kits but mostly you should only need a hammer and some nails. 😊

Just remember, the best designers and contractors in the world learned from trying, making mistakes, and then trying again until they learned. The point is, you did try and now you know to never understand any circumstance hang a mirror with Command Strips even if it worked before. Walls have different textures. Better a couple holes in the walls than you getting cut and have to get stitches.

you should check out 3M CLAW picture hangers! they're made by the same company as command strips and they've been a lifesaver for me since i'm also afraid of using a hammer or a drill on my walls hahaha. the holes they leave behind are teeny-tiny and they make ones that can hold up to 45lbs :-)

Take the track down it looks tacky get a double curtain rod that fits the door and the window measurements and put the sheet in the back n the blackouts in the front. I can’t with that track n ur esthetic it has to go 😂😂.

For the clothing rod you need that little piece of wood for the bracket to go into! It is probably so you can use a bigger sturdier screw (or multiple) that's strong enough to hold up the weight of your clothes! you can go into a hardware store and they should not only be able to help you pick out the wood but also cut it to the right size for you! I'm not very handy either and I'm slowly trying to learn how to be better at it too but it does start to get easier, even just trying to do it yourself makes you brave and will give you more confidence next time. I always ask myself, if a man can do it, how complicated could it actually be?

I believe they sell some sort of stickers for windows/glass doors that prevent the heat from coming inside. You should look into them for the doors maybe they help with your problem.

Your condo is probably built with metal studs. It helps stop fire spread between units. You can do it! Just move over about 4 inches. Studs are usually around 16 inches on center, which means they are 16 inches apart from the center of one stud to the center of another. You should have some space before you run into another stud. Or pick up a cheap stud finder. Be sure to use a wall anchor for anything heavy. Patching holes is very easy and you can get a sample size of paint to touch up the paint. KZbin has lots of videos on how to install things. I have lived in my house for 7 years now and have picked up some things along the way, it takes time to learn new things. Baby steps! Don't give up!

I have to trim shrubs, remove the old mulch and layout the new mulch. Pressure wash my driveway, sidewalk, and deck. Main the grass. I didn't realize how much work it is.
