When you say 'units' do you mean ALL of their band or monitors? OR across ALL CF791 ultrawide monitor specific model? (either way my answer is kind of the same) basically unconfirmed. I've seen a few people with my specific monitor (cf791) say they DO have the problem, then a few (such as Tom below) say he cannot see any lines. I am currently in the process of posting another video that shows the lines even worse when i use the two problems together). I'm not trying to badmouth samsung products or anything like that. Either i have a defective monitor, or they have a few issues with this technology, i'm just trying to get to the bottom of it :)

Elecyview i meant across this model's units. have you contacted their customer support?

Yes I have. They have troubled shooted it with me and are going to have me send mine in. Here's a video of me briefly mentioning that as well as showing this problem at its worst: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3zQZX2BobZ8fac

as a test, can you open up this page jsfiddle.net/d8yhg43b/4/ and if you click in the middle you can drag that window a little wider (it needs to be bigger) or you can make your window full screen.. Then look next to the white (or they might be yellow if your using chrome?) boxes and see if you see any faint faint lines on either side..

i tested it and i don't see any lines or other kinds of distortions....

Wow not at all? and you got real close up ? I guess mine must be faulty. I'll test it one more time with display port before i send it in (but i did try display port before with the same results). I'm assuming you're using samsungs included display port cable? btw do you get a brightness pop/change when you open this page in Chrome www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/5xyi8c/found_another_issue_with_the_samsung_cf791/ (I.E wont work, edge probably wont either).

So i did another test :-).... i also get the brightness flickering like the guy on reddit. But not all the time and it quickly disappears (it's like the brightness goes down and immediatly goes back to normal). It doesn't bother me. Still don't have the lines...

Tom Verhelle ok. that's actually my post on there. if I open that page in I.e. it doesn't flicker. but if I open it in chrome it like makes the screen slightly darker and if I hide the window or cover that black pattern image it pops back to brighter. (or maybe it's the other away around lol) that what you see?
