Solid pack man. That should serve you well for a long time.

Love those Bergen-style Rucks (my Tasmanian Tiger LRRP Mk III is like that), they're SUPER comfortable! Kelty is doing it right, that's a very solid price point. Good stuff brother!

@@swampdweller1566 They're excellent, I really like them, not the cheapest but I'd say middle of the pack price is still a good option. Hellyeah, looking forward to more brother!

I’m glad I found this video. I’m not no ultra light guy, I’m looking for mor of a bugout/ 3 day ruck pack and you seem exactly like the type of guy that knows where I’m coming from. Great video

I'm not an ultra light person either, glad you enjoyed it. I just did a video going over what I carried for a 3 day trip in this pack, it may give you an idea of what it can hold

That's a nice drab color, my last Kelty pack is Brite green and yellow. May check those out the next time I get to the outdoor store.

Looks like a sweet pack! Those mesh side pockets look like a nice spot to stash some protein bars and electrolyte mixes to easily grab while moving

I have this same pack and I have not used it yet. You gave me some good ideas on setting it up. I could not pass up on the cost either from Amazon. I am 62 now, so comfort comes before everything else. I have owned and used the medium and large ALICE packs most of my life as a retired Marine, but I find them too awkward to carry these days. I look forward to seeing your next video on this pack.

Great review. I just came across your channel. I have that same pack, and have loved it. In particular for winter hiking and camping. It's built to handle a load. I'm not that big, 5'9", 185-190 pounds. I'm also 73 years old. This past winter, I intentionally loaded this pack about 10 pounds heavier than I normally would, with gear I typically wouldn't carry in the winter, just too see how it and I could handle it. It weighed right around 41-42 pounds. This thing is so comfortable I was able to handle the weight with no problem. I didn't go that far, maybe a mile in, but it was fun! Happy trails! From Colorado, Roger.

Your doggo is waiting for you to dig the treats out of the pack. The 105L version has a separator that you can buckle/unbuckle in the main compartment should you want to separate out your sleeping stuff.

Have you tried the 2qt in the mesh side pockets yet?

My main hiking pack is a Kelty Falcon 4000. Kelty is a tremendous value and their packs are super comfortable fully loaded. I was looking at the exact pack you reviewed but I can’t justify another pack. Nice ruck!

I don't understand why it's the sleepin bag compartment ta begin with...bein on the bottom of the bag is not where my bags end up...heavy frum the bottom up,lightest on top,my bags end up perty close ta the top of the pack so....everything looks great 👍I'll git 2 and abuse one at that price point....

Would that pack work with a “battle belt” or is it too long ?
@swampdweller1566 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion no it won't. The waist belt will prevent you from using any kind of battle belt
