From 1997 to 1999, I read all the Creation Magazines and the back copies prior to the name change to "Answers in Genesis". The answers I found in those magazines to the questions going around in my mind seemed much more credible than what the evolutionists were presenting. With this foundation, in April 2000, I was baptized and received the Holy Ghost. Almost 24 years later, I still enjoy listening to Ken Ham and the "Answers in Genesis" as a born-again Christian, walking on in the Lord. 🎉Congratulations Martin Iles

@@Moist._Robot , there are many reasons to believe the Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books today, is indeed the word of God. I will name just a few as I do not believe the KZbin comment section could hold them all. 1. Jesus told us which books were the word of God. Jesus affirmed the Apostles and commanded we accept their teachings. We may question Paul's authority, but the other Apostles after much debate and discernment accepted Paul's authority. You may ask how or why would we trust Jesus? Well, he is the only human to rise from the dead at this point in history and stay alive for almost 2,000 years now. 2. The Apostles died horrible deaths to defend their belief that Jesus rose from the dead. At the crucification, the disciples were cowards. They ran and hid afraid of the authorities. So, what happened to change them into the courageous men we see in Scripture and secular writings from that time? They really saw the risen Christ and were given the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Read Acts 1-8 to see the power given by the Holy Spirit to the Apostles. 3. The Bible perfectly describes the human experience. The Bible has been scrutinized for thousands of years and stands firm today. The sin nature of man described in the pages of Scripture starting in Genesis perfectly displays the illness of man mucking up the world we live in. Thankfully, among the Bible's display of sinful man, it reveals a loving, merciful God willing to forgive and heal us. It even tells us how He rescues us, by the sacrifice of God Himself in human flesh, known as Jesus Christ to English speakers. God has preserved His word through generations and lovingly provides us with enough evidence to know He alone is God worthy to be praised. 4. The Bible was written over a period of approximately 1500 years by about 40 different individuals from different times amd places. Though this is true, the Bible has a consistent message throughout all books. How can that be? The Bible was written by different men, but they were all inspired to write the words by the same Holy Spirit, the same God gave the words to write (2 Timothy 3:16-17). If we can trust anyone, it is God we can and should trust. In conclusion, we can know the Bible is the word of God because God Himself came to earth in human form, demonstrated His power and love by dying on a cross and rising again in glory on the 3rd day. Not only that, but the ones who were eyewitness to this glory were dramatically changed and stayed faithful to the claim unto death. Oh, and 5. The same Holy Spirit who inspired Scripture and revealed all things to the new testament writers is still working today. God promised to change our hearts in the old testament and He does. If we are humble and seek His face, He is faithful to keep all promises contained in the Scriptures. He will give you His desires and then give you all the desires of your heart, because your desires are His desires. How blessed we are to have such an opportunity. So many people claim that their religion is the truth and that everybody has to follow what they believe. If you take a step back from your religion, I think you will realize that religion is just a way to control and scam people. Men use the Bible to keep women in the kitchen and to serve the man, not to speak up and to know their place. Meanwhile, men really get to do whatever they want to do. Religion hinders development. I don't believe in god, but I don't think anybody is wrong to believe in a god(s) of what they want. It's religion that is the problem. Think about what AIG has been teaching and really be honest with YOURSELF, not the Bible, if what they are teaching is harmful. Christians like to say that they have morals because of their religion, but if you are honest, their morals have some good, but some are really bad and evil and they are too prideful to see it. Evolution has a lot of evidence. AIG knows this, and if their followers see the evidence, then they will know that it contradicts the Bible, and then people might start thinking for themselves and realize the Bible is inconsistent. If you look at everything closely you can see creation, it screams creator of some sort, I believe it is God. Down to energy and the smallest particles vibrating with an unknown energy, which the bible explains as how God holds everything together. If you prefer science, check out The Mandelbrot Set. If you take time to learn on your own, evolution will seem such a far fetched theory that it is! Simple truth from observable science, if evolution were remotely true we would see an overwhelming account of that in the fossil record, but that is NOT at all what is found! Do I have the right Old Testament? 🤨 The same Old Testament that Jesus often quotes, in which are the same laws that Jesus said he would not do away with? 🧐 I couldn’t care less what you think about Paul, but his letters and dogmas are right there in the New Testament. 📖 Where I’m from, the Bible is taken at face value as the inerrant and inspired word of God. I don’t know what your dogma says about the trinity and the validity of scripture as the divinely inspired word of any deity, but do you only support this claim with “love your neighbor as yourself”? As in, this applies to child abusers and genocidal maniacs and other vile, heinous people too? That’s quite the love Jesus has for the gays, especially considering under the law that Jesus says he wouldn’t abolish, homosexual acts would be punished by death. At least, that’s what it says in my Bible. Maybe we should switch all Bibles in the world with your version, and save the victims of colonialism in the third world from the disgusting dogma that was spread there.
