Kendall!! There is a case in Northern Ireland at the moment which is shocking and frustrating. About a 14 year old boy called Noah Donaghoe, he went missing in July and was found 6 days later unclothed in storm drain. Police are saying no foul play, nobody believes this is true. His mother has no answers and is desperate for awareness of what happened to Noah, shes not even allowed to see the full autopsy. Please look at this case!! It will shock you and awareness will help his mother

Everybody: Please do not go out with people who obsessively try to get you to go out with them. If they can't take no for an answer and graciously back off, it's a huge red flag. I know there might be situations where someone makes their feelings known but the timing isn't right so things work out later on, but strangers refusing to leave you alone is not cute.

i had these two friends who fought over me a few years ago. one was threatening suicide if i didn't date him and the other kept touching me inappropriately. i was too ashamed to say anything at the time and it took a major toll on me. i recently told my parents and i'm seeing a therapist. if i had had the logic i have now, i never would have hung out with them. great advice for people with less experience. i agree, some persistence is good, but not so much that the person won't leave you alone. no is always an option!

Yes! I learned this the hard way! I used to work at a bar in my small hometown and there were tons of workers coming from all over. Back when the oilfield was making serious money and our area was a hotspot. So anyways I went out with a guy who wouldn't let up, I gave in even though i really didnt want to. I was young and a people pleaser. Anyways dude turned out to be psychotic! Anytime we would get a new waitress or bartender I would tell them not to feel pressured to go out with anyone!!! I was like their annoying mother lol. Always telling customers to back off if they wouldn't get the hint. In the bar business "the customer is always right" doesn't exist. If they didn't like it, then leave! Lol And no I'm not saying oilfield workers are psychotic! Or anything like that, I'm just saying where I worked there were always strangers coming and going because of the work. Also it was a really small town so when it came to dating it was really slim pickin.

There's been several studies in the last 10 years where they study inmates brains. A HUGE portion of them had significant damage to their frontal lobe area in particular. My ex has FAS which is brain damage caused by mother drinking during pregnancy. They found all these guys either had FAS or had a traumatic brain injury from a car crash as a kid or surfing or been physically beaten. Frontal lobe damage can literally turn people into psychopaths because it takes away empathy for others. They also lack impulse control and are more likely to have fits of rage. I honestly don't even see these guys as monsters anymore. They are just sick. They need to go to prison to keep society safe but yeah...

The fact that Fred killed people before he met Rose, coupled with her history of being abused, leads me to think that he was the ringleader. I still think Rose was complicit, possibly brainwashed, but guilty nonetheless. The fact that she killed his stepdaughter while he was in jail proves that she is a murderer on her own. Those two together were just pure hell.

My first cousin once removed was kidnapped and killed by Fred and Rosemary West. Her name was Lucy Partington and she was 21, the age I am now, which is such a mind fuck. She was studying Medieval history at university. Her brother dropped her off at the bus stop after her friend's birthday party, and she was never seen again. I can't imagine the guilt he must have felt knowing that if he had driven her all the way, she would have lived. My family had no idea what happened to her until her remains were discovered over twenty years later in the West's cellar. A few days after she disappeared, Fred went to the hospital with deep lacerations on his hands. Her body was also found with a knife. It's good to know that she fought back, and that she was not tortured for more than a few days. Hearing (an abridged version of this) story as a kid is probably what sparked my obsession with true crime. Also the kneecap thing really really disgusts me too for some reason.

Given that females are raped at an exceptionally higher rate than men, if this were even remotely true, female sex offenders would outnumber male sex offenders like 100 to 1. @Cynthia Zavala is he really a sociopath though if he had feelings for her? or just deranged and mentally disturbed in another way
@sad-qy7jz
@sad-qy7jz 3 жыл бұрын
@@erin.19 it’s not that black and white. ted Bundy seemingly loved his girlfriend and treated her like a princess and actually for all purposes was actually a good parent or pretended to be to her daughter. It’s not that you have no feelings but rather a perversion of normal, healthy, interpersonal emotions and empathy. Its not the kind of feelings you feel, and given his childhood he has had staunch disturbances throughout critical stages of emotional development and empathy not to mention the TBI. But it’s not that he’s necessarily void of emotions. He probably felt lust and some kind of shallow bastardized version of intimacy. But being “a sociopath” isn’t a specific disorder in the DSM-5 and as everyone knows from Shane’s cringe there’s so much sensationalism of the term when it already has different contexts across different disciplines. I am a mental health professional and that is just not the type of language we use and throwing that around would be considered extremely unprofessional and incompetent. There are certain contexts mainly in forensics and research where models of the sociopath construct are developed and used to assess people.. there’s a few specific inventories used for that you could probably look up.. but it’s not reallt the same that a true crime special night use the term at all, and even words like “empathy” and “personality” mean something specific in that context of psychology rather than what comes to mind when you otherwise hear those words. so that’s a good question but the answer is, people ultimately aren’t the way we compartmentalize them. In practice in terms of mental health, psychology, and neuroscience there’s so many more layers and depth and nuance to this. There’s a lot that goes into that kind of interpersonal functioning.. empathy, theory of mind, perspective taking, sexuality, self-concept, attachment style, motivation, maturity.. that’s a fraction of it all. I love true crime and it’s not always reasonable to fully explain every concept relevant, but a lot of the time human psychology and sociology get oversimplified and unrealistically portrayed. Most people’s idea of a “psychopath” simply isn’t actually a thing, or is just a very perception-based idea of something that doesn’t necessarily represent a realistic psychological profile
@erin.19

Hi Shannon! My mother was in your position many years ago. She suffered from endometriosis and could not get pregnant as well as suffering a number of miscarriages. The doctors said that she would never have a child, and if she managed to carry a baby to full term, they would be born with severe physical and psychological malformities. But she found a doctor who worked with her extensively, and I was eventually born. I'm completely healthy and thriving as an adult. There is always hope for you, so don't lose heart.

What a shock. Moth took down his incel eant against "natalists" p, his quirky name for women who want a baby, irrespective of any issues having to do with said pregnancy and children. All of us are selfish and only care to have "perfect genes". Obviously this "person " has never dealt with this longing for a child to raise, and the majority of whom get donor eggs or get pregnant and deal with any "imperfection" of said baby. "MOTH" get a girlfriend and have a few grown experiences, including sexual, and have talks about kids. We all know you will go around the globe adopting and raising any kid he thought was "damaged". I am disappointed he erased his incel remarks LMAO 🙄🤯.

No. Just an empty, eerie space

There’s just a footpath. When the house was demolished every part was taken to the RAF to be ground up so people didn’t try and get souvenirs.

Nature vs. Nurture is so interesting. I grew up with the same parent dynamic, my mother a hard core drug abuser who would let me drink and do whatever I wanted and a father who was violent over leaving a spoon in the sink or not cleaning correctly. Back and forth, over and over. I'm not a serial killer though, my personality is just very multifaceted and I'm more of a chameleon in situations than most.

@@emilyh7621 Thank you darling 😊 I'm a "normal", loud, compassionate, open minded 30 ish year old woman now. Never thought of it as a disadvantage, since I know how to handle many situations that other adults have no clue of. Pretty thankful that I've seen what I have and dealt with it when I have, I'd hate to be my age without some stories to tell as well 😂

I'm sorry you had to experience this. I always say that ppl of traumatic childhoods are great ppl. Serial killers use it as an excuse. They're cowards. I'm happy you are okay now.

I’m happy you grew up well. I think that psychopaths/serial killers tend to have a different brain wiring while yours is more normal
