She is the best singer I have ever heard. It’s the way she sings. Makes you feel emotions even after watching her for like 50 times. Go watch her audition. You will fall in love with her. She has it all really. Great personality and so sweet and pretty. But she is legit

I like your take on this song. Refreshingly honest. I only found Sydnie several weeks ago. I have seen a bunch of vocal coach reactions and interviews. You are the first one to point out the three bobbles in this song. Sydnie is a self-professed perfectionist. In one interview, she said she thought she had blown the whole competition with the "mistakes." Knowing this, immediately after the song, you can see she is not happy.
@hookster81796 ай бұрын
Syndnie vocals may be a once in a lifetime sound of emotions to listen too, but she was the first to highlight the BGT vocal coach help and looking forward to future help from her. Always learning always growing.

Hi Kenn Sydnie explained in the interview on Monday in "The Morning-Show" after winning the competition, that the producers suggested her this (Lauren Alred´s) Version to sing in the finale and she had only 3 days to make it her own with her (BGT-)Voval-Coach. For Sinatra´s "My Way" she had about 4 Weeks ti prepare. She said, that it was very challenging and thanked her coach. A really wonderfull and humble young lady.

This is the first time I've heard Sydnie and she has a very unusual voice which I really liked. In your analysis you pointed out perfectly that her main strength lies in her high belting. Another fantastic young singer you should definitely react to is 20 year old Lucy Thomas from the UK. She already has released 6 studio albums, her latest video uploaded on to utube being a cover version of the classic song 'Unchained Melody." At the end of the year she is going to star in a brand new musical especially written for her on London's West End stage called "Rosie." Many reactors seem to believe that she has the most beautiful voice on the planet. I'd love to know what you think.

Sounds to me like you should also check her audition . It's BGT btw and the price is Cash and performing at this years Royal Variety show. Luckily for her probably..the show is not tied to ridiculous recording contracts which usually seems to lead to a 3 album career. Anyway Sydnie's dream is to be on the West End. This arrangement btw comes from Loren Aldredd..Sydnie's idol. Though she did still give it her own twist.

As @uknowispeaksense7056 stated, this is Loren Allred’s version from AGT Fantasy League earlier this year. So the Never Enough influence is there as you stated. Loren is her idol, and Loren gave Sydnie her blessing and congratulated her afterward. A collaboration between the 2 is expected soon. Loren will be in London when she performs with Andrea Bocelli on July 5th, so maybe they’ll get together then.

I can't get enough of Sydnie. I'm obsessed. Definitely interested In what professional vocalists have to say in regards to her talent. Has she had lessons? There's no way this is completely organic...right? I mean she would really have to be some freak of nature to know how to do all this perfection without any training.

she did say she was going to spend part of her winnings on her vocal teacher. She said the vocal teacher has raised her game beyond anything she ever did before. I would like to know if she did her own arrangements because it is obvious she came into this competition with her own music. It truly is a case where all the stars aligned into a miracle event for all three songs she sang. BTW - I really like your style of reaction. I find it technically strong and educational.

Your personality seems narcissistic. Even for a reaction video, it's as if you can't stand being upstaged by the singer you are reviewing, and practically drown her out with the endless stream of verbiage, including off-hand tangential remarks and commentary, most of it of very limited relevance at best. For example, dwelling so lengthfully on the singer having to find the pitch (that observation seemed to go on forever as if it genuinely thrilled you) then excusing it by saying it convinces you it's an authentic live performance (what else would it be, a Milly-Vanilly redux/nostalgia video????).... There's constantly an undercurrent of something quite negative, but I can't put my finger on what it is -- but it's *definitely* there.

Well, this version must trace its origins back to Eva Cassidy's rendition. Now, I was not impressed with Eva's - how should we call it - eccentric phrasing where she inserts pauses in the most unnatural places. And, now this version adds in even more awkward unnatural pauses. What ever happened to good taste.
@highroller-jq3ix6 ай бұрын
Exactly. There is a "natural" way this song is supposed to be sung because it was literally squeezed out of actual birds. Are you actually this stupid, or are you just cosplaying as someone this stupid?
@FelixNielsen6 ай бұрын
Honestly, she is clearly very talented and has great potential, and yet this, to me, is utter garbage. Why you ask? Well, because it is just one more over the top black and white "because I can" performance. What is refreshing however, is someone picking up on the little details, like the fact that she, like most, is nowhere near pitch perfect. Thank you.
@reddragonready6 ай бұрын
It's a competition..one has to WOW the audience because it is their phoned votes deciding the winner. Essentially it is her audition for the West End as well..so yeah..over the course of just 3 songs she is going to try and WOW both the voters and the producers of future West End musicals and show as much as possible of her range both vocally and emotively
@FelixNielsen6 ай бұрын
This is true, to a point. As for the audience, the do not know any better, they can't help it, and yet, those who are remembered beyond the final, are often those who did not just give it all, including everything, including the kitchen sink, compressing as much vocal masturbation as possible into a very short performance. There are plenty of very talented singers, but this is not enough. You may je noticed, sure, but you are not remembered, because on the whole, it is just same old same old. What i remember, is the little girl, whats her name, with the ukulele. Not because she was a little girl, plenty of those as well, not because the played the ukulele, the didn't do all that good of s job of it truth be told, and not because she had a great voice, because she didn't. No, i remember her because she gave it all in the ways that matter. She was not just another talentet, or not so talented singer, but a performer. This one however, i will not remember, not out ill will or any such thing, but because there really is nothing, for me, to remember.

I’m sure the £250,000 she won and performing on the Royal Variety show will make up for you not remembering this young woman. This type of singer is not to my taste but I don’t feel the need to be unpleasant I simply won’t watch her again. Still you’re entitled to your opinion.
@FelixNielsen5 ай бұрын
@@Sofasurfa When have I been unpleasant? What makes you think that I it is about her, personally, rather than the type of performance? So she won, good for her. There have been many winners throughout the years, and good for them, but how many of them have largely been forgotten and how many have not? I think my claim is evident, and presuming I am right, the reason for this is exactly what I have previously described. Talent is not enough, and of course they are rarely as talented as the public perceive, you need to be a performer. In any case, it was never my intention to be unpleasant. In fact, I suspect that I might come to like her, should I take the time to expose myself to more of her. Regardless, this is not the point.
@Sofasurfa5 ай бұрын
@@FelixNielsen I believe that your comment read as rather unpleasant and now that I think about it, a tad patronising as well, “As for the audience, they do not know any better, they can’t help it ….” So glad one has your expert opinion to rely on. Obviously it matters what the audience thought given they were the ones who voted for this young woman. She obviously managed to touch her target audience as it has gained her nice chunk of money plus the exposure that performing at the Royal Variety Show will give her. What she does with this opportunity will be down to her ability to continue to connect with an audience. An audience does not need “need to know any better” an artist isn’t taking part in a grade eight singing/performance exam. As said not to my taste but I certainly wouldn’t refer to someone endeavouring to show case their vocal skills and style in a two minute slot on a highly manufactured show as vocal masturbation. I hope this young woman goes on and has a musical theatre career. As said you are entitled to your opinion. I am permitted to find your comment unpleasant. We will have to agree to differ.
