Love Creme Brûlée! Will have to try this. I’ve had the idea to try to make Tiramisu, it seems like it would be pretty easy to make Keto with some fluffy egg pancakes in the middle. 😋 You prob already have a recipe & I just don’t know about it.

Maria....In your recipe instructions, it indicates to use a double boiler however you're not showing that step in your video. Is a double boiler step required?
@MariaEmmerich2 жыл бұрын
No, but it helps when making a custard.
@nutsforthebeach2 жыл бұрын
@@MariaEmmerich I ended up creating a makeshift dbl boiler...it worked great. The creme brulee is absolutely delicious. I made this batch with an entire can of coconut milk (well shook before opening) and HWC for the remainder of the 2 1/2 cups. My husband likes it so much better with coconut milk. He's torching the 'sugar' on our last two right now. Thanks Maria! ❤️

@@MariaEmmerich I made another batch today without the double boiler method...runnier center. I'll do the double boiler going forward. Question...can allulose be torched on the top?
@MariaEmmerich2 жыл бұрын
Yes, allulose will work for that. :)

Thanks for the recipe! Can erythriol burn like traditional sugar?
@MariaEmmerich4 жыл бұрын
It won't melt the same. It will somewhat work, but not caramelize like sugar. Allulose is best for that.

I have a question. For many things I see keto and some of your things... I just can not do sweeteners of any kinds. It is like my body has gotten so sensitive to them and I can only stand maybe 5 drops if even that of a liquid sweetener. So many recipes that call for like 1/3 cup of a sweetener, can that be left out, especially like the bourbon chicken you did, and a few other dishes?
@MariaEmmerich4 жыл бұрын
You can always leave out a sweetener, it is going to affect taste of course. You may have to find a spice that covers that for you. :)
@NavSteff4 жыл бұрын
@@MariaEmmerich Thank you so much. A friend shared a similar recipe also with me and I left the sweetener out and it was awesome, so I know this one will be also. I have learned so much from watching your videos :)
