I was so addicted to donuts, I would have them for breakfast before work every morning. Then I went to a doctor for my autoimmune condition and he told me to stay away from sugar. I started researching more and it is the cause of a lot of inflammation in the body. Discovered this recipe and made it! I used country crock for my butter and a different brand of almond flour. My donuts came out a bit eggy and greasy, but they were soooo good! Way better than carb loaded versions. I modified mine to use 1 less egg and 2 tb of butter, plus 1/4 c of gluten free flour, they came out a lot more cakey! Thank you for this recipe 😋

Seriously? Do you know how bad Cane Sugar is for your body? It destroys your good cells… leading your body to break down and possibly getting cancer…

Debbie, you want to stay away from sugar alcohols-that’s a problem I have too. This powdered sugar is Allulose & isn’t a sugar alcohol. I use this in my Creami keto meal replacements but for baking not always the best choice because of over browning among other things. Great for ice cream & non bake recipes. Pure monk fruit without fillers & stevia are good. Look for Besti products without sugar alcohols (most everything) & ChocZero which also doesn’t use them. Also lakanto has newish sugar sub with no sugar alcohols. Unfortunately most keto products use sugar alcohols because they’re cheaper.

@@rebeccacook5467Allulose makes my heart race. I didn’t know what was causing it for the longest time. Come to find out it’s an allergy to it. I like to tell others about it now so if it happens to anyone else they know to change their sugar substitute. Now I’m having trouble fining a good replacement for it. Sugar alcohols are so hard on your stomach.
