Hi Mel, I have a couple of questions on this recipe. If I want to sweeten the dough, how much sweetener should I use? For the quantity of salt to use, the video says1/4 tsp and the written recipe says 1/2 tsp. Which is the correct amount? Thanks. I'm going to make this recipe very soon. Hi Shirley please use a 1/2 tsp. I suggest 3 tbsp Sweetener. It will only be slightly sweet so maybe add more if you like. I found that amount to be enough because I had a sweet filling. And you can also dust with powdered sweetener 😊

@@ernajuliannaprimo9745Typically, in most recipes, if you just use 1/3 of the amount that is called for for almond flour you usually get a pretty good conversion for coconut flour. So, instead of one cup of almond flour, you would use 1/3 cup of coconut flour, for instance.

I'm sure it wouldn't be the same though. I'm sure it would be very difficult to roll this dough thin enough to make a phyllo. This is more of a thicker pastry dough than a phyllo. I'm sure it would still taste good, but you wouldn't get the flakiness that comes with numerous layers, like you do with phyllo.
