It is the best bread I have ever eaten! There is something magical about it, it reminds me of the bread people might have been eating during Atlantian times.

Made this today. I used brown flaxseeds instead of yellow, and it turned out great! Looked and tasted like a rustic Nordic-style bread which I love! I toasted some of it with butter and enjoyed it with almond butter yuuuuum even better ❤️❤️🤤🤤 next time i’m gonna try adding some seeds in them to make an actual Nordic bread oooh! Thank you for the recipe ❤️❤️❤️

I recently bought some golden flax seeds to make bread because I can't stand the sweetness of almond flour, but I'm a bit afraid that flax seed bread is bitter. I'll give this recipe a try, fingers crossed :D

I think certain flax seeds are lighter. There is a difference between golden vs another...I just don’t remember what though. And if for some reason you don’t like this. There are other recipes that uses flaxseeds and another flour. I do look forward trying this. It is low in carbs....looks good w butter and eggs or sandwiches

Thanks so much for the replies! I also prefer the golden ones. Not only it looks better when baked,the taste itself is not over powering compared to brown flax seeds.

Hoy nuevamente realice el pan y por fin me quedo pulverice la harina varias veces más en procesador de alimentos ahí mismo realice la masa y destape mi recipiente de metal porque tenía tapa y por fin lo logré Muchas gracias por la receta y por responder a los comentarios y reduje a una cucharadita el polvo de psyllium

I wonder if this recipe can be doubled to make a larger loaf without effecting the texture. Would need to find the size pan used here to bake in. Any suggestions?

I’m sure you cab double the recipe, I always double her bread recipes for my 8x4 pan. Bu she provided us a link in her description box for the pan and I just placed an order. So excited, can’t wait! 😂

Hi Deborah, yes you cab definitely double the recipe for a standard size loaf pan and just increase the baking time by 5-10 minutes depending on your oven.❤️

Does anyone know which Psyllium husks is the best brand? My husband and I are tired of chewing on gritty texture found I the Psyllium husk. Yuck!!!😝

Hello Doris. I used the NOW brand, whole psyllium husk and just grind it using my magic bullet. So far no complaints with the texture.❤️😊

I tried doing this twice. However, my bread always comes out super damp and sticky in the middle. I used the metric scale the second time but it didn’t work for me. Any advise on how to get it fluffy and dry like yours?

Hello dear, you cab definitely use powdered psyllium husk around 1.5 tsp but pls take note that your bread might turn purple due to your powdered psyllium husk.❤️

Hello dear, your oven may run too hot. Try decreasing the temperature by 15-20 degrees °F and bake it a little longer until toothpick is clean when inserted.❤️

Great recipe but I struggle a bit... I have still moist and chicken nuggets texture inside the bread. What needs to be changed? The loaf is still quite wet before oven and I already put less water than mentionned. More flour? More baking powder? Any ideas?

Have you tried baking it a little longer and letting the bread completely cool before cutting?

How much psyllium powder would you recommend for this recipe? The same amount as the self grounded? 🥴 i am going crazy with this because I have the powder and my breads tend to be sticky and wet inside If I use the same amount as the whole psyllium husk self grounded 😔

It looks amazing.. I already tried your recipe for the burger buns, and the chia seed bread, they were really great except one problem, it smelled like eggs and it was a little wet inside .. can we do this recipe without eggs (substitute them with water)? Or can i do something else to get rid of the smell and the wetness ? Thank you in advance, big fan btw 😘

Hello Reem, you can try adding flavours to mask off the eggy smell. Add some spices and herbs like garlic powder, onion powder and some dried herbs. You can also add some nutritional yeast for some savory cheesy flavour.

@@mianawan if I’m not mistaken, you add 2,5% more regular psyllium husk or you reduce water by 2,5%, because regular psyllium husk absorbs less water. Even if you do add the whole 9g of regular psyllium husks with the 120ml water, just leave the dough to rest for 10 to 15min before inserting in the oven and increase the baking time

Aww... lo siento por eso. Creo que su horno podría estar demasiado caliente para que su pan se hunda. Puede intentar hornearlos a una temperatura más baja, alrededor de 330 °F (165 °C) y aumentar el tiempo de horneado de 15 a 20 minutos o hasta que el palillo esté limpio cuando lo inserte.❤️

Hi, I made this twice already using egg whites from a carton. First try I used 120g and second try I used 90g. Both times I had it in the oven over 70 mins, actually the second time it was 80 mins. The bread still was wet and at the bottom of the pan was a watery substance. Was it because I used egg white from a carton?

Hello Cathy, I’m not sure if it’s the liquid egg whites. I haven’t tried using liquid egg whites in this recipe so I’m not sure if it’s the reason why it’s watery. What kind of psyllium did you use?

@@ketoserts I'm using Now brand and I powdered it, also used finely ground flaxseed meal that I grinded in the coffee grinder. It happened twice. I will try using large egg white. I really want this to work since it doesn't use the whole egg. Thank you!

Hi, I tried it a third time. Baked it 70 mins and still little wet. Do you think that if I am using Bob's Red Mill Golden flaxseed meal I shouldn't grind it? Maybe that might help?

Decrease the temperature and leave it for two hours in the oven. You’re probably living in a humid area.

How many grams of egg whites are 3 large eggs? I use x-large eggs and/or have cartons of egg whites on hand. Want to make sure I get the amount correct. Thanks for another great recipe!

Hello Michael, I’m not sure about the exact weight of the egg whites. I just use my store bought large eggs. But my large eggs are approximately 56-58grams with shell.
