In this recipe I have 14 pcs each has
Netcarb 4 net carb
Fiber 7.8 g
Fats 24.8g
Protein 9.5g
Calories 294 net calories
We need 2 bowls for dry ingredients (3 cups of almond flour, 3/4 cup of coconut flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of xanthan gum, 3 tablespoons of psyllium fiber, a pinch of salt) and ingredients wet (3 eggs, 1/4 cup salted butter, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon vinegar) mix all ingredients until well combined then rest for 15 minutes after 15 minutes, cut the dough into 14 pieces, each peace mold in a circle, use plastic wrap before flattening each dough into an oblong shape then making the fillings I used 1 cup grated cheddar cheese with 1/4 cup butter optional for 1 tablespoon of sugar substitute, mix all the ingredients and reserve in another bowl melt 40 grams of 90% dark chocolate and 3 tablespoons of almond milk mixture this together and set aside
Necesitamos 2 tazones para ingredientes secos (3 tazas de harina de almendras, 3/4 taza de harina de coco, 1 cucharadita de levadura en polvo, 1 cucharada de goma xantana, 3 cucharadas de fibra de psyllium, una pizca de sal) e ingredientes húmedos (3 huevos, 1/4 taza de mantequilla salada, 1/4 taza de leche de almendras, 1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla y 1 cucharada de vinagre) mezcle todos los ingredientes hasta que estén bien combinados y luego descanse durante 15 minutos después de 15 minutos, corte la masa en 14 piezas, cada molde de paz en círculo, use una envoltura de plástico antes de aplanar cada masa en forma oblonga y luego hacer los rellenos Usé 1 taza de queso cheddar rallado con 1/4 taza de mantequilla opcional para 1 cucharada de sustituto de azúcar, mezcle todos los ingredientes y reserve en otro tazón derretir 40 gramos de chocolate negro al 90% y 3 cucharadas de mezcla de leche de almendras esto juntos y dejar de lado

This recipe looks really easy. I had a chuckle at the plastic wrap (box writing is in Hebrew, my first language). I didn't expect that in a recipe from the Philippines! Thank you for sharing.

When mixing eggs and melted butter you need to make sure that the butter is not hot because the eggs get cooked with the warmth of the butter.

I hate psyllium husk. Every low carb bread I make gets a very grainy texture that I just cannot get used to, and I am using the powder, not granulated one. Does yours come out grainy? Any suggestion on how to prevent the grainy or gritty texture?

Yolanda Fernández WHY IS IT CALLED THAT? Ironically, despite the vast number of our local breads descending from the ones brought over by our Hispanic conquerors, Spanish bread is the one example that’s completely our own. It has been theorized that it’s called thus because of its similarity to the ensaymada. Both breads are made with eggs, butter, and sugar, and are coiled prior to baking. Only Spanish bread is rolled into a flat sheet, and then twirled into a stout stick rather than into a bun.

@@Merte5 She is from the Philippines. She can translate her recipe via Google but may not understand your question written in Spanish. Luckily I do as my parents are from Spain though I was born in the PH. To answer your question - it is exactly called “Spanish Bread” in local Philippine bakeries. The PH was a Spanish colony for a very long time from 1521 - 1898 hence much of the words, foods, Filipino first & surnames are actually Spanish. This bread is an ancient recipe native to the Philippines from Spain’s colonial past (flour & sugar changed/‘Ketofied’ by her) thus why it is unfamiliar to you. It can still be bought in Manila’s local bakeries to this day.

@@Merte5 No worries. Although the Philippines was under Spanish rule for about 375 years, when the Americans came in 1898, the whole country started education in English. Today, even the very poor can understand & speak English, basic Spanish is still understood but slowly fading (they do not know that much of the Filipino language is actually in Spanish). Even my friends from Spanish families can only speak very basic Spanish. I am therefore a rarity, so when I see information about ES and Asia/the PH, I feel almost a sense of duty to contribute or help clarify what I can ♥️

Gonna go make it now. And to the person who inquired about the vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar, but def white vinegar will work in a pinch. It works with the baking powder to help fluff your baked goods. SALAMAT!!

I’m just curious why coconut flour is usually being combined to almond flour? Cant it stand alone so there’s no need to add coconut flour

Necesitamos 2 tazones para ingredientes secos (harina de almendras, harina de coco, polvo de hornear, goma xantana, fibra de psyllium pizca de sal) e ingredientes húmedos (huevos, mantequilla salada, leche de almendras, extracto de vainilla, mantequilla y vinagre) mezcle todos los ingredientes hasta que estén bien combinado y luego reposar durante 15 minutos después de 15 minutos cortar la masa en 14 piezas cada molde de la paz en un círculo use una envoltura de plástico antes de aplanar cada masa en forma oblonga y luego hacer los rellenos Usé queso cheddar rallado con mantequilla opcional como sustituto del azúcar mezclar todos los ingredientes y configurar Aparte en otro tazón, derrita el chocolate negro al 90% y la leche de almendras, mezcle y reserve Aplanar cada masa en forma oblonga con una envoltura de plástico y un rodillo, luego extender los rellenos sobre la masa y luego enrollarla suavemente, cerrar cada lado de la masa española, repetir el proceso y luego usar harina de almendras enrollar el pan español Hornee a 180 ° C durante 30 minutos en medio de la roca; es bueno servirlo mientras esté caliente

It looks delicious just to eat a very small piece because people eating low carbs and instead they eat too much cheese and bacon and butter is full of cholesterol and in my opinion keto is not healthy as people think it is.
