Keto Turkey Biscuit Casserole from CjsKetokitchen! Thanksgiving leftovers. Do those two words invoke happiness, or dread? For me… Joy. For a day or two anyway LOL. But at a certain point in the days after Thanksgiving , I’ve had about all I can of reheated turkey. That’s when you have to get a little creative and start thinking outside the box. Last year we shared a recipe for leftover Thanksgiving casserole. But this year, I’m turning to my easy leftover turkey biscuit casserole or gobbler cobbler as I like to call it. We hope that you enjoy it! We hope that everyone is doing well, and being safe. We appreciate your support. By the end of Thanksgiving week I am not even wanting to hear the word turkey. Lol so I will start telling my family to figure out what they want for Christmas dinner cuz I'm not making turkey again. Lol

I really enjoy all of your videos. I have noticed lately the subtitles seem kind of large, making it hard at times to see what you are doing. I'm sorry, I don't want to sound mean or anything. It's just the writing seems to take up a lot of room. Thank you for this terrific recipe. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day.

This looks sooooo yummy. I almost can't wait for dinner to be over! I wonder if it might be easier to whisk your arrowroot/ xanthan gum into the almond flour and mix both in together to eliminate any clumping? I'm planning to make a little bit of bone broth with my turkey carcass. It won't be much though since we're just doing a breast for the two if us. Those keto biscuits are going to make my life complete.
@cjsketokitchen3 жыл бұрын
Sure! Definitely try it if you want..... I did not have any clumps of any kind😊 Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁

This looks delicious! I am new to Keto and haven’t done any reading or research yet, so thanks for the reading recommendations. I notice you don’t use salt while cooking this dish. Is that a personal preference or part of the keto protocol? Thanks.
@cjsketokitchen3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lora👋🏼 Welcome to our channel. Salt was part of my poultry seasoning blend. I am actually a gratuitous salter. LOL...I enjoy heavily seasoned food. But, we always encourage our viewers to use seasoning to taste or personal preferences!🧂🥰

So this Arrow Root does it make things slimy like Xanthan gum can if u use to much? I think Xanthan gum is good in baking but not cooking like for gravy or soups cuz it gives it a flavor of slimy if u use to much, I usually only use like 1/4 tsp cuz anymore than that is no Bueno! What do u all think is the best for cooking??
@cjsketokitchen3 жыл бұрын
I enjoy the arrowroot, no slime in my casserole. I can and do use xanthin gum with successes well. So it’s really personal preference.😁

I have a serious question can you substitute almond flour for coconut flour because my granddaughter is allergic to nuts
@cjsketokitchen3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but you may need to add more moisture, coconut flour is much drier.
