***A NOTE ABOUT ALMOND MILK FROM SOMEONE WHO USES THIS KEURIG*** buy Silk... Almond Breeze as this video shows does not froth just warms up and bubbles. Silk will provide a very thick froth like the skim milk at the beginning of the video. I have tried Califia farms, as well as local store brand of almond milks and only silk has frothed in this machine.

You are right at the beginning this machine was frothing everything even Almond Breeze but lately it wasn’t working at all not even with regular Alta Dena full fat. I tried Silk after reading your comment and it worked and it also works perfectly with Aldi brand almond milk. Thank you so much for your comment! It was helpful.

@@RoseBaby i’ve been finding where my Keurig machine sometimes froths the milk and sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t know why that happens. I just hit the froth button a second time and it seems to do it. I loved your video though! When I got the cleaning kit I couldn’t figure out where the water filter went and thought maybe they forgot to pack it in my box. I found your video by asking how to find the water filter on my Keurig K café in the search bar. I didn’t know you had to purchase it separately. Thanks to your video now I know! I only put filtered water from my Britta in it anyway so I’m not sure I have to Descale it ever. The light hasn’t come on and I’ve had the machine for over a year. I did notice green algae in the bottom of my water reservoir though. It wasn’t there before I made my cup of coffee this morning but a couple hours later it was there. I guess I’ll clean it now! 😬

To get the FULL professional “separation” of foam, coffee and milk, start by: #1) Froth your milk first. When done, pour all of the milk and HALF of the foam into your empty mug. #2) Place your mug on the drip tray and brew your shot. #3) Top your mug off with the rest of the foam. You now have proper, perfect and professional separation layers. #4) ENJOY!

Great Machine. Live mine. Excellent ice Latte or Cappuccino as well as a hot one. Cost me about 25¢-35¢ to make a Latte Hot or Cold instead of the StarCrooks $6 price tag. No wasting Gas, not driving and looking for parking "NYC" no paying Tax, no speed Camera Tickets, No red Camera Tickets, No getting my Coffee wrong as so many Baristas have done and with Attitude if you complain. BigOceanMan It’s funny you asked because a couple weeks ago it started making this chirping noise in the middle of the night. My fiancé and I thought it was a smoke detector going off but after looking around for where it was coming from I found out it was coming from the Keurig. After Googling the issue I found others had the same problem and when they contacted customer service they said they had no fix for it and so they just sent a replacement. Other than the occasional chirping that it does, which is just fixed by unplugging it when not in use, the Keurig still works perfectly.

No where is it mentioned but all of the Keurig coffee makers but this one come with a charcoal filter adapter that plugs into the reservoir. If you have one, it will snap into the bottom of the reservoir

Yes, If you want strong coffee you hit strong button on top and it will give a stronger cup of coffee. You can also make a 10oz cup of coffee instead of 12oz to make it stronger. You can use less water.

Great review - kudos! But when I tried - there's no froth (did exactly the same things) :-( I'm using a plant based milk - could that be the reason?

Plant based or nuts based milk like soymilk and almond milk won't produce much froth usually. Unless you make it super cold and use a shaker. You could buy separate frothing equipment sold in certain stores and try it. But I am not too sure it will still froth. Its because of the protein and its binding agent.Though soy is protein its missing the binding agent. Like you can see skimmed milk won't froth as much as whole milk. But any milk will froth in cafe because they use industrial espresso machines where they steam the milk by injecting it with air at a high speed and temperature. Air creates bubbles which in turn creates the froth.

@Sunny Goklani I was having a hard time lately frothing the milk too. It wasn’t frothing the Almond Breeze anymore I switched to Silk after reading one comment and it’s working again also I tried Aldi brand Almond milk and that works too, so I think you just have to try different brand until you find the one that works for you. The company said the froth works the best with less fat milk and fresh milk.

I was using a regular Keurig & a separate frother, as I like large coffee with warm almond milk. My Keurig was 8 years old, so I replaced it with this one. I like it very much. The only difference is, you must first do milk frother, than do coffee, whereas I use to do concurrently. If I had a newer Keurig I would just do a separate froth machine, but if replacing this is wonderful. Jeanne
