Years ago, I poured maple syrup over a bowl of fruit salad, and I've never gone back to having it without the syrup...and it's been 20 years or more. The casserole looked like something I'd like to try. I've never heard of Tater Tots before, and here in Canada they're called Tasti Taters, which I'm sure someone has already mentioned. I'll wager you had a grand time moving everything back into the house! Ah, well......

I started making cold brew coffe in the 90s after working at a specialty coffee shop. That's the only kind I drink at home, I dont even own a traditional coffee maker. Thanks for sharing your cold brew coffee recipe.

What an elegantly served garden brunch!!! I am so sorry it started to rain. This is why I wish so much that I had a covered outdoor area-with a nice ceiling fan-and in my case, also beautifully screened in because the bugs are so bad in the south!!! This brunch meal looks absolutely delicious!!!

Greetings from Australia! Thank-you Kevin! I had my in laws over for breakfast and was stressing about what on earth to make so that i didn't have to get up at 5am to start cooking! I wanted it to be stress free and i used all of your exact recipes in this video, it was more than enough for everyone (10ppl) and they all loved it (they also all took home leftovers of the granola)! i couldn't believe how easy it was with most of it make ahead! Excellent Sunday brunch Kevin! Everything looks delicious and healthy too. You should look for one of those tarps that you can hang from posts or a rectangular umbrella for when it rains. Just a thought. I'm a coffee person, and is a good idea to serve the cold press coffee in the warm weather. I will have to try it. I like the addition of the lime juice and zest to the colorful fruit salad. Elegant ice bucket and champagne holder. I love how you serve the half and half from a small pitcher instead of the carton. All of that looked so great. I will share with you that when I serve fruit salad I use a fruit mix just as you did and in a bowl that size you had, I put in two strawberry Yoplaits and mix it up. I am going to make all of these items in the future in one way or another.

The potted plants are "regal" geraniums (officially called Pelargonium x domesticum). In the states they are sold as "Martha Washington" geraniums.

Laotian coffee are also very nice just like Ethopian coffee. Laotian coffee is grown in the mountain jungle of Laos. It's one of my favorite brew.

That's Florida... there are memes about it. 3:00 PM, sunny as can be. 3:20 PM, heavy thunderstorm, 3:30 PM back to being perfectly sunny. It's hellishly hot outside already though, and we don't get reprieves from that... it'll be like this till at least October, if not November. Basically summer is spent indoors in the AC.

I love fruit salad in the summer. My mother use to make a sauce with sour cream, pineapple juice and honey. Served it on the side. Delicious drizzled over the fruit .

Hi Kevin! In my garden I learned that if you have eggshells you can put them around your vegetable plants. You just put the around your plants in a circular pattern, this will help to keep away certain crawling pests. You must put them point side up though. Great seeing you again! 🙂💛🌿🌻🐛🍽️🍷🦋

Kevin, a quick trick to make your creations more quickly: For little round ingredients that must be cut in half, such as cherry tomatoes or grapes, simply lay them on a cutting board and cover with a plate or small pizza pan. Then cut horizontally between the cutting board and the plate on top...voila, all neatly cut in half in less than a minute for the whole procedure! Love this "hack"! Love your videos!

You are such an avid Gardner you should plant the top of the pineapple. We started doing this a few years ago and have several HUGE plants and many smaller ones. We even harvested two fresh pineapples. They are very hardy up until til frost time. We bring them inside for the winter. Such fun and it’s free plants.

So lovely Kevin. Another enjoyable morning coffee with you. If btw, you roll the lime first on your cutting board (under your palm) then cut off the stem, juicing becomes easier - less resistance. Again, a wonderful way to start my day. The tater tot casserole looks good and also very easy. Love granola but make mine rather differently ( I don't like maple so use honey and different seeds) Your make ahead recipes make entertaining much less painful. Thank you.

Might I suggest another way to keep the cream cold outdoors…I’ve used a slightly larger and deeper base bowl filled with the ice and then place a clear glass bowl that is large enough to accommodate the creamer inside that way when the cubes melt you don’t have to juggle to put the creamer container back into the ice. And for another idea if serving a bigger crowd I put the plastic ice packs that you might use in a lunchbox and cover with glass marbles and/or a napkin and place the refrigerated cream or any other item perhaps the fruit Salas on top. I’ve even used my banquet chafing dishes this way instead of lighting the fire as would be done for serving hot dishes. Thank you for all the lovely brunch inspiration.

Oooh, I'm not a huge fan of the overnight bread casseroles, but I really want to try this one! Homemade granola is definitely the best. I love honey butter. We sometimes add some orange zest, and that is delicious. While I was in college, I waitressed in a restaurant that served popovers instead of bread, and they were served with cinnamon honey butter. Yum!

Fun video, especially when it started raining and you and Lizeth calmly continued on. In my head I imagined everyone else, especially Lizeth with the camera, thinking "hurry up! hurry up!" 😂 Regarding the inedible core of the pineapple, I like to put it in a water pitcher and fill with fresh water and store in the fridge. It makes your water deliciously pineapple flavored!
