What Hornsent (NPC) meant: - Marika is hinted at having been created by the Hornsent (culture) as part of their practice of making Jar-Saints - She rebelled against them, gained divinity, and created the Erdtree & Scadutree - Marika sent her son Messmer (hinted to be Melina's brother) to massacre the Hornsent (culture) - Hornsent (culture and NPC) are hoping for vengeance, and believe Miquella will help overthrow Marika's order to make a world closer to what they want
@chitt772 ай бұрын
that's putting it mildly. The Hornsent took everyone in the Shaman village including the children cut them apart shoved them into jars in the hopes to make a god and it worked. However in hindsight this was not a good idea as the god they created was reasonably pissed and sent her son to burn their people to ash and for some reason the Hornsent still claim to be the victims and Miquella being based off Griffith from Berserk is confirmation that he is pure evil, completely selfish and, power hungry
@mar_speedman2 ай бұрын
So actually you're saying they're the bad guys and the entire time they were complaining that a paladin passed through their land and purged all their screwed up villages and cults and they want revenge on the paladin and his army for not letting them do their horrible deeds?

Whereas others appear to be frustrated with your approach, I appreciate your persistence in these games. Reminds me of when Dark souls was just coming out, and me and my friends were clueless as to how you tackle certain bosses. @druman8902 ай бұрын
@@TheScienceBoy I disagree. It's optional for one so there isn't really any justification for being upset about the fight or mechanics. I like that it forces the player to engage with the crafting system but not in an overwhelming way. The fact that the boss only has 2 attacks it can do while you are on the ledge (fireball volley and jump + swing) and it only takes 5 great fire pots to beat also means it's one of the easiest bosses in the DLC. We saw that when Luke finally figured out the mechanics he managed to dunk 4 pots on the boss in between 1 attack.

You don't have to get off Torrent to throw the hefty pots, so you can stay mobile to avoid the fireballs and take them out pretty quickly. You can also throw hefty pots into the heads of normal ones you've downed as they're getting back up! You have to be quick, but if you do it right you can take them out in like half the time. Also, unrelated but you can use Mohg/Morgott's shackle to unseal spirit springs and lower/raise flamethrower towers in catacombs. The range is pretty huge too.
