What he said 40, 50 years ago, is still valid and pointing to the same place. So, he has definetely found the truth, which he is trying to explain in words. He has taken a lot of effort to guide human beings for that truth, by requesting us to Observe/Enqure into the Internal Structure and find this beautiful truth. But he was going too deep, most of the listerns/us have no idea, what he was talking about. Even after 40/50 years, it is the same story. and we have to follow his talks, very carefully to get the message. Thanks for sharing these talks of Chrishnamurthi and hope more people will go deep and understand the path to the truth.

i like him but he doesnt know how to communicate, thats why so many people find it hard to understand. Plus the question he is asking is very complicated, many nuances to why people dont radically change. When he was refering to total sensation, he means most actions driven by a thought (will or motive) based on reward or punishment. Meaning most of our acting is done with thinking. And since tomorrow(projections) and past (memories) are things stored in the mind most our actions become mechanical and repetion or patterned. thinking is a patterned mechanism. From what i understood, you need the mind to be quiet so it doesnt interfere with your choices and end up making the same or similar. With training ive been able to have moments of total silence in my head.

desire is the need to care for something of less value than man. why we cannot see an animal suffer easier than man suffer. therefore, desires create lazy will so that it can fulfill its true selfish desires. selfish selfseeking, pleasure that is. irony that man learns this when he/she is too old to do one darn thing about it. thus, organized religion helps remedy this great obstacle to man and earth, planets, etc. every other creation knows its place.
