I saw Khemmis open for Opeth and Mastodon last year and was hooked ever since. This is a masterpiece of a song. Perfect composition. I didn't expect to find this on your page since I'm new here. Turns out you make music and parse out philosophy and political theory. Wowww. Excited to hear more.

That’s so cool. It’s kind of amazing to me how many people are into “both sides” of the channel, which really just emerged organically because I originally just planned this as my personal youtube channel, with live videos and docuseries about touring. When the podcast got going some commenters suggested starting separate channels, but I like it the way it is. I couldn’t keep track of multiple channels anyway. I love Opeth and Mastodon also. Been seeing Mastodon since I was a kid at the old Emo’s in Austin whenever they’d come through, and then Brent Hinds came out to our show this last time we toured through Atlanta! Crazy world.

I didn't play with them at this show, I was there as a guest of Temptress (who we just toured with). However, Ben of Khemmis (surprisingly) did remember me, since Destroyer of Light played with Khemmis back in the day, at the Worshiper cabs showcase during SXSW 2016, and he thinks another time in Denver, though neither of us could remember when or where.
