My 2016 Kia Sorento seized on 8/16/19... stopped in the middle of the highway. No lights, no sounds, nothing. Did some investigating and it was out of oil. Just had it changed on 6/7/19. Dealership is refusing to honor the lifetime warranty. Again, no lights, no warning, no nothing. 5.5 quarts of oil went somewhere in two months. Or at least that's what was SUPPOSED to be in there. Since its AWD, what is its ground clearance? It will be successful if its priced around 7 million. It's full option awd variant is being sold in 7 million pkr equivalent in India.

@ciybersal I have checked it performance and don't think its direct competitor with Fortuner so there are slim chances of its success if priced above 7.5 million. Its crossover vehicle and being seven seater is no advantage if it's not an SUV. It's full option AWD worth is not more than 7.5 million as it's being sold in the same price or less in other countries including in India.

I am talking about Pakistani customer mindset who would definitely prefer Fortuner over Sorento if priced in the same price bracket. My point is that it should be priced same like its priced in other countries. Any unrealistic price tag will he a stupid move by KIA and will surely badly fail. Now customers have more choice and awareness so no company can exploit like its was done in the past.

Yes i also wish that new gen should have come in Pakistan. But brining new generation requires a lot of time & money such as upgradation of plant, market research, road testing. But KIA Pakistan already completed their research on 3rd gen when the 4th gen was launched. Right now 4th gen is made only in 3 countries US, South Korea, Vietnam.
