That's what I like about dip nails that you can use your own natural nails. I'm glad you show the tip on how not to start with whole nail because I tend to get the cuticle area bulky and try to fix it with filing but it makes the nail thinner and if falls

@Anahata Sorry abt the 📚 up there. If u actually decide to read all of that, I apologize for the headache. If u take 1 look & are like HELL NO! I don't blame u 1bit! But let me know if u tried this brand of dip kits & how it worked for you pretty please! & Again Sorry! It's my toxic trait 💯%! Even as a kid my notes to my friends were PAGES!🤣 &My texts as an adult had to be broken N2 pieces so legit (no lie) my hubby & fam & friends wld get approx 30 dings or notifications for texts coming so when they'd hear Ding Ding Ding Ding rapidly they knew by like the 3rd ding that it was me w\o looking. Actually my Sis in Law (who's my FAV person on the planet EVER even over my hub!) was w\her new BF who later became her hubby & her phone dinged for a text & then again & again & she just kept talking & watching the movie. He was like are you gonna get that? It sounds like it's important. She said yeah I'll get it but that's Amber & her texts come in multiples up to 30 or more. So I wait until I get them all bc my phone doesn't put them in order. & He said how do you know it's Her u didn't even look? She said bc that's Amber. Nobody texts like her. Anybody else wld be 1 or 2. You'll figure it out once u meet her! 🤣🤣

I just used this product. I never, ever do my own nails - and it didn’t turn out too badly (my left hand looks like a decent amateur attempt but my right hand *I’m right handed* looks more like a 3 year old did it) - but I’d offer these tips: After using step 3 activator/seal protect, take time to really clean up your nails with a thorough buffing to smooth the nail surface thoroughly to the point that it looks like a good matte finish that would be fine as is. I also ‘rinsed’ my nails with 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean up any dust or residue. Hopefully, it lasts for a little while but if it doesn’t... it’s not like I’m going anywhere and I’ll give it another shot.

So I ordered the dip powder starter kit and this tutorial is so helpful and this is really easy. The only thing is, the top coat is basically like nail glue which is why she said to wipe it off with a lint free wipe. idk where to get those so I used an alcohol pad but it was still too late because the brush had already started to get clumpy. luckily they give you extra brush tips with the kit so that you can switch them out.and maybe you can try to dip it in the brush saver before its too late but I didn't really know what that was for of course until it was too late. so really just be careful with the top coat and you'll be fine, my nails came out really well for my first time doing this. it got a little messy but im sure that will get better over time with more practice

This looks sooo much easier as my nails are growing more and I'm looking of ways to retain my lenght so that they can keep growing. This video just gave me a better idea! ❤❤❤
@MT-uo3lq4 жыл бұрын
To retain your length stay away from hand sanitizers and grocery store cart wipes! These have high alcohol contents and will peel/break your nails. They will be so brittle. Also, try to not have your hands in water a lot. Like wear gloves when washing dishes, clothes and when you shampoo your hair. Sally's sells gloves for $3.00 for shampooing. When removing regular nail polish (use those without formaldehyde) do not use acetone polish remover. Instead use gentle ones like the one by Ella + mila...Hope this helps. 😁

Can the kiara sky dip system be used on a different brand of dipping powder?
@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
We don't test it this way so we can't guarantee the results but you're welcome to give it a try. Without knowing what formula is used on other powders, we can't know if our activator would work.

When using lint free cloth to wipe, do I have to use some cleanser product like gel surface cleanser or just the wipe itself?

Hi! Before you did step 4 you said to wipe down the nail with the lint free wipe. Does the wipe have alcohol on it or just a plain wipe? Thankyou!! 4:19
@naturalbeauty21785 ай бұрын
For this step, she used a lint free wipe without alcohol.

Hi! First time viewer here. I was hoping you could list all of the things needed for this to help out those who have never done this before. I already bought dip powder and a nail drill kit, but it should help if you listed maybe the products you used so I can make sure I have everything necessary before starting one day and not working out well. I know this is extra asf but I would sincerely appreciate it! ♡

Is it me or this method make the nails look thick?
@tootya1233 ай бұрын
It’s acrylic. Not exactly the same but all of these products are in the chemical family of acrylates.
@ericagibbons7697Ай бұрын
It has to be thick because mainly people who have jobs need to use their hands often.

My top coat ended up looking a lil lumpy/streaky (they were perf buffed underneath). Anyone have any tips?
@brianna72105 жыл бұрын
All Ginger to Me maybe you didnt let it dry properly between coats.
@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
Hey Babe! 💕Be sure that your top coat brush is clean. And make sure that after the second coat of seal protect you take a lint free wipe and really rub the nail with it to pick up any excess product. If there's any seal protect left on the surface of the nail, you'll have issues with the top coat. 💅🏻

if we remove the shine, wouldn't that mean we are making the nail thinner? does anyone know?
@undeadunicorn74615 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's making your nails thinner and weaker. If you go to simply nailogical she has a video about how to keep your nails healthy and make your nails stronger.
