Gabriel, back in 2010 I locked up the brakes on the mini van I was driving in the middle of BFE Nebraska. All because my co-driver was critiquing my driving, which was stellar but not to his "expectations"!! I Got out, walked to the passenger door, opened it and told the person sitting there " I will kill you, leave your carcass right beside the van for the buzzards and thumb my way back to Illinois. The look on his face was...."PRICELESS"! I get back in and just like Keifer Sutherland and Woody Harreleson in "The Cowboy Way" I tell him "If I hear a moan, hear a sigh, hear a grunt or hear a sideways glance, I will follow through with my intentions (Yes, that is exactly what I said) We had a full tank of gas and for the next 350 miles there was "nothing" and I do mean "NOTHING" from him. It got to the point I could not look at him for fear of breaking up laughing. Finally after 350 miles we stop for gas and it was his turn to drive that I apologized for blowing up. His response was a flippant remark which I responded "Don't think for a minute I will not follow through so zip your lip and body language"!! He buttoned up...... It was his van!!! We are still best friends, and he knows I am serious! LMAO

I was driving Lyft and the snow started pouring down and there was a teenager and the car started sliding. So I'm like, you know I am from California and do you know how the West, how the trailblazers went out west. They just started. No talk. Just went out on the trail, going to the unknown, always knowing with a quiet self-confidence and focus on the road taken that they and everyone in their group will reach their destination safely, kind of like the drive we're on.
