The fact that these things happen to people all around us...while we dont even realize most of the time..is pretty sad. It's not anyone's fault if they don't realize, but it's just..I don't know. It must be so lonely for someone who has never had their "story" told.

I don't find it sad. Pity is one of the most disgusting things you could offer someone. This is reality. We have to face it, and through the constant struggle we become stronger... so no, it isn't sad. In fact, it's kind of great at the end of the day. I know for a fact that I remain thankful for all of my struggles for they have made me who I am, and I believe I have become a much stronger version of myself because of them.
@korria
@korria 5 жыл бұрын
@@SmotheredDreams that is true..but in the moment that you're in it doesn't feel good. Also my apologies, I didn't mean to sound like I'm pitying anyone. But it's okay to be vulnerable to your struggles you know. It does definitely shape you as a person so I agree, but struggles are struggles. And in the moment it's quite stressful. I'm not trying to argue and I totally see your point of view. Hope you have a nice day👍(no sarcasm intended)

Blue Sir yep.. I don’t have the exact situation but my dad didn’t want me and my mom lost custody..😢 people don’t realize how hard it really is. It does upset me sometimes when people are like “my parents are so annoying I just wish they would go away” or stuff like “I don’t need my parents” because they are actually really lucky, people like me aren’t so lucky. Pls if your reading this just love your parents for what they do for you. I’m sure everything they do that annoys you is to keep you safe, or for the good later on in life etc. and if you’re in the same situation as me, I hope it’ll get better one day for you!! I've had a hard life aswell, when I was born I was with my mom and dad on a ranch and had always had a good relationship with the animals, My mom was 17 at the time. But as I grew older, I would play in the front and hear them arguing and my mom come running out and driving away. I would go in a chicken coop and they would all be quiet as my 2 year old self cuddled wih them. But one fight, they both came out... My dad pushed my mom off the stone stairs and there was blood everywhere. I was surprised and saw a lady in her car driving by on the phone screaming in anarchy. I rushed back with the chickens and they kept me calm until the police came. We were separated and I went with my mom and lived my life with my mom and I've only had one step dad and he seemed nice but one day I came home from school and saw him smoking meth and syringes with heroine inside. I ran out and called the cops and my mom and he went to jail. My grandma was a nice person along with my mom's sister, my grandma's daughter and helped me a lot since during the fight she had gotten paranoia and bipolar with other things and unfortunately got back problems and couldn't work. As my dad spent thousands on me and sent me things I didn't want and just sold for things I wanted, trying to get me to his side for when I turned 12 years old. When I was 12, I was told to share my opinion of life and how I think life would go and who I would be happier with, I chose my mom. My dad was outrageous and pulled a gun on my mom when we left the building as he got it out of his car. But the bullet missed, thankfully. He went to jail and my mom pressed charges for attempted murder, and child endangerment. For that we won in only 2 court cases for 68 thousand dollars, we celebrated that he was out of my life, it was one of the most happiest moments of my life it helped us with rent and I would soon be 18, graduating with a scholar ship and getting another scholarship by helping the local church for most of my life. In hopes to go to college and get a good job to help my mom and everyone who helped me overcome my hard journey. I am now 25 and last year have decided to get my MA (Masters Degree) after 6 years of college. And I became a stocks manager with the help of me taking advanced math in high school and college. And am doing good in life and taking my mom and family that helped me on adventures that they couldn't do, just as I couldn't do as a child. I hope you guys enjoyed my story, never look down. Only believe.

I actually have gone through something similar. I got taken away from my Dad, who's always been my support and my best friend. My biological mother took me from my dad because she placed a really stupid protection order against him, I don't really like the family court system because my mother physically and mentally abused me and my two sisters in a small room we had to stay in for 12 days. She didn't leave bruises, so the cops couldn't take us away, but we called the cops multiple times and they documented it all. My dad won the case and got us back, so that was awesome, but the thing is: if my my dad ever touched us in the opposite situation, he'd be in jail the next day. So, I really don't like the system for what they did to my sisters and me. So.. yeah, that's my experience with family court.

This short film is one of Syrmor's classic works to strike against traditional concepts of morality and justice. The audience is presented with a character that resembles one of Syrmor's previous characters, which is a reference to Syrmor's ever-enlarging universe and the continuity that links all of their short films. Overall, the theme of this short film is one of forgiveness and attacks deontological logic in which there are certain absolute "rights" and "wrongs". The short film opens up to the initial action that sets forwards all of the events our character discusses: the act of their mother being arrested for drug, firearm and child endangerment charges; and the placement of our character into a youth shelter. While describing the environment of the shelter, our character acknowledges that although the children were troubled, they simply did not know "right" from "wrong. The plump figure that resembles a bear seems to represent the counterargument to this film: "Why wouldn't they know the difference between right and wrong?" Syrmor addresses this later in the short film, and so shall I as continue to mimic its narrative structure. Our character then relates their experiences in this youth shelter. Typically, one hears that such environments are terrible due to the prevalence of delinquency from the peers and neglect from the overseers. Contrary to this notion, our character argues that this experience was rather helpful and foundational for them; and that they would not go "back in time" and change it if they had such an ability. Next, our character describes their familial relations. Generally, the father was not very present in our character's life; and the audience is already aware of the mother's connection to their life. In a moral framework that most people would have, it would not be considered "just" for our character to still hold love for their parents -- people would argue that they no longer deserve it. This is a typical deontological argument in which certain actions are simply wrong and cannot be rectified. However, Syrmor is presenting, through this character, a moral framework that argues that the ENDS, rather than the MEANS, matter the most. As I previously stated, our main character would not go back in time to change any of their previous circumstances. The plump bear-like figure puts it succinctly (which I believe is Syrmor's way of holding their less-capable audiences' hands to the main conclusion): "This has had a pretty . . . positive to neutral effect on all of your lives". The reason for this is because our main character is able to forgive people for their actions, rather than holding them to some unrealistic deontological framework. Absolute rights and wrongs are a fool's game, as humans can argue and HAVE argued for millennia about what is ABSOLUTELY wrong or right -- with no real outcome. Syrmor is arguing what really matters is the ability to come together and provide the most good for each other, as we are able to. Such a theme is shared in Tool's song titled "Disgustipated". From Tool's "Undertow" album, this work features only one unique verse, surrounded by ambiance and spoken word. The verse is as follows: "This is necessary / This is necessary / Life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on . . ." This relates to our short film because it discusses the idea that life is interconnected -- and that it is necessary to be conscious about your own place in this connection. Being able to forgive despite the circumstances is one of the best examples of acknowledging one's place in these connections, as well as remaining connected to pieces of your own humanity. Forgiveness also helps those who have done you wrong remain connected, as well, for obvious reasons. It is not often that one will see Syrmor directly attack such ideas of morality and justice. Perhaps the nature of this argument justified the use of an outside character to address their points in a succinct fashion (and perhaps in a sort of way, address themself in a third-wall-breaking fashion). I look forward to seeing more work like this in the future.

So your VR headset was paid by with meth money? No. My computer was tho. Had me rolling!😂😂 this is really sad though. It really puts in perspective how lucky of a life I’ve gotten to live.

I just discovered this channel an hour ago and now I am here, consuming all these reports of one's experiences and damn. My first thought was "why do you have to upload these intimate, personal conversations?" but then I realized how much other people can profit from these type of videos and I really appreciate it. Your way of interviewing is kind of loosening the sad atmosphere. You are really doing a good job at that. Thank you for capturing these talks and sharing them with the world.
