The cursive, which took me wayyy too long to decipher, reads: « You are an idiot and no one likes you. Get over the fact that your(not my spelling mistake) extremely rude and annoying, and go make friends. This family most definitely values my word over yours any day. And I never lie*, you pathological lying psycho*. » Which I’m assuming is from the sibling who said he was lying, and that’s down right brutal. Like that response is so cruel, even when I hate my siblings I would never try to crush them like that. Edit: Thanks to commenters below, I've filled in the blanks with the most likely words, marked with *. Also, if it is psycho, that makes it worse for me. He's not the psycho here dude. Kids lie to get out of punishment, they get in trouble for lying, no need to absolutely ruin their self confidence and image.

@hmnhntr
@hmnhntr 3 ай бұрын
@@chris_the_heartbeat_lover.1994But....why? It's an entirely different script, invented specifically to be used with quills and fountain pens, neither of which anyone uses anymore. Its most notable quality is literally that everyone's cursive looks different enough to use it as a form of identification. There's literally no reason to keep using it except that old people don't like acknowledging that the skill has become obsolete. The only point I ever hear is that you *maybe* write faster in cursive, but that's skewed bc the people saying it are more used to writing in cursive than print. And even if that WAS true...so? Speed is rarely what you need when writing.

But nope. Kid got bored almost immediately and just Deus Ex Machina'd right out of there XD

i wasnt a dumb kid. i was a kid on the verge of a crisis at any given moment. my mother dearest recalls a incident in which i climbed to the top of a slide and instructed the kids to gather as i had something very important to say, (i was like 5) and what did my sweet, sweet little self say? "one day the sun is gonna explode and eat the earth" i wish i was joking. i had read about it in a space book, and decided to traumatise some random neighbourhood kids. yes like 3 kids started bawling and i was dragged back home.

When I was a kid, we wrote Christmas cards to soldiers fighting in "The War On Terror", and all I wrote in mine was "Merry Christmas. I hope you don't die." Not because I couldn't think of something more creative or because I just didn't feel like putting in any effort. Because I couldn't think of anything a soldier would want more than to get home to their family. Ofc young me couldn't articulate that AT ALL and I got detention.

The first story reminds me of something that happened to my brother: My Sister ~15 decided to do the shaving for my brothers head. After a bit she heard a little clink, but thought nothing of it and continued. Then she noticed that she'd basically shaven off the hair in that strip she was doing entierly, because the little clink she heard was the little attachment that is supposed to set the hair length falling off. Luckily for my brother this happened during school holidays so it wasnt quite as embarassing as it could have been.

When I was 5 or 6 years old I stole the hair clippers from under my moms bathroom sink and shaved half my hair completely off. When my mother found out, she shaved me completely bald. And I had to go to school the next day. So the next day when I left home I was wearing a hoodie to try to cover it up, I entered the classroom after eating breakfast in the cafeteria, and was immediately told to take the hood off, I had never felt so much embarrassment in my life up to that point. Needless to say 15ish years later at almost 21 years old I still feel stupid for doing that, I would do an entire post on Reddit but the photos my mom took have been lost with time. 18:14 I think this kid answered the "draw a smaller angle" perfectly correctly. Those are smaller representations of the shown angle. The teacher should be more precise with their word selection if they want students to draw "more acute" or "more obtuse" angles, but that's not what teach asked for. The child was correct!

Here's a Lil' Life Hack that I used as kid when my brother would get pen on the wood part of my loft bed: Toothpaste. Toothpaste gets pen off. I don't know why, but it does. It'd probably get it off of the couch at 21:13 too.

The vent kid has me laughing, because my brother used to take those off when he was two. But instead of getting stuck in them, he'd poop and pee in them.

14:33 Believe it or not - that actually already happened at my workplace. This is an office building. We don't work with children in any way shape or form. So that must mean an adult office worker smeared poop all over the toilet doors but then apparently didn't come out still covered in it or smelling like it.

22:46 I have something more embarrassing than bith day. When I was 10 I made a clay name plate (for my name) and I forgot a letter. I didn't notice until it was too late, after I had glazed it. I still have that name plate.

18:57 I use to live in house with my family that have those vents, but I never ever will thought to get in there with my body like movies where character goes through the vents, but I knew how to open one since some of them have the bolts either gone or unscrewed.

14:25 Most kids smell a little of sh*t if they haven't been properly potty trained. You likely wouldn't notice the culprit if they were clever and washed up afterward.

teachers really be scribbling cursive and think "you can't read it or write it properly you must be dyslexic" and put you in the special needs class only for you to find out years later you have dysgraphia AFTER GRADUATING COLLEGE edit: i could read everything else fine cursive is just scribbles to me

With the cursive thing, I was taught a few letters of cursive at the end of second grade, was told that we'd learn the entire alphabet in third grade, never learned it in third grade, and then had a teacher get upset with me in sixth grade for not knowing it

My brothers and I have lived in rural areas for most of our childhoods, and each of us have done a number of stupid things, sometimes early in life and other times not so much. I am the oldest and back when I was 15 or so the second eldest and I played with fire, leading to an entire bottle of 95% alcohol exploding, lighting our faces on fire. We only had very minor 1st and 2nd degree burns, with our hair scorched off. The youngest managed to pull out his IVs when he was hospitalized for swallowing a button battery (he was 2), this all resulted in him *spraying* blood everywhere, including on my mother. There has also been instances of printer ink being deposited everywhere, carving names in furniture and blaming it on the one that can't write or spell, and many more...
