I have alopecia I’m 15 and was diagnosed with it when I was only a couple months old. I’ve only ever known myself being bald, I never had hair so I never really missed it. But everyone who has alopecia has a different story. And I think this video is great because people assume people with alopecia have cancer. So now we can spread the word!!! BALD IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Humans learn something from this girl like literally learn something. With all what she have and how she's living without hair she is still loves herself and tries to always be kind to herself even tho she's struggling everyday going out and see all people that point at her, laugh at her, and even stare at her but I think she's really a positive thinker. To all the girls out there that think that they're ugly well.. Imagine waking up without a limb or waking up paralyzed, waking up without hair and so on just imagine how hard you're everyday life would be so plz all of you love yourself be thankful for what you have no matter what and always know that there's other people that live in literally hell. I know sometimes life would be really hard but what is life if there is know ups and downs like imagine your life without any ups or downs it will be horrible. I went through so much in life so I understand how ppl with any mental illness feel like cuz I myself have a mental illness that has no cure, but you know what who cares I am going to live my life like every body else I will not always feel ugly anymore I will love myself, I'll try to not be hard on myself for once I will try to be positive, but it's really hard and it's not easy and I know how most of you guys feel. learn from this girl just learn from her like some people that have nothing going on in there life yet they don't even smile and look how's this girl smiling like if she have nothing even tho you can feel the sadness in her eyes but still she's smiling. I had my first encounter with someone with alopecia in middle school. One of my classmates, Dee, had it, and while I don't remember the specifics, I know she told us at one point. She was one of those people who had a beautiful head shape, so all the different things she'd do -- wraps, all sorts of different colored wigs, even when her hair was just barely growing in she'd accent it different ways, even just going straight up bald -- always made her look so beautiful. She was part of our major friend group, but probably closer to my friend Melanie than to me. I miss her a lot.

I had alopecia areata when I was in 5-7 grade. When I was in 5th grade, I remember someone in my class saying “why do you have a bald spot?” I went to the doctor and got diagnosed with alopecia. My hair started to almost all fall out, and the doctors recommended shots into my head. I also lost my eyebrows. A good hairstyle covered the spots. And thank fully got to use shampoo and this special serum. Thankfully, mine grew back almost 2 years later. I cut it last year, because it started to grow back curlier than my hair before. Anyways, that’s my story. She looks SO GOOD and is beautiful. Not surprised she’s a model. She’s so pretty

3644Ashley There is no harm in someone being upset about losing their hair. I think it's wonderful that doctors are able to offer a treatment, even if it may not work for everyone. Unless you have lost all of your hair due to a disease, you couldn't possibly understand how that person truly feels. It's easy to say that you should just be happy and embrace yourself, but realistically that's just not how it works. If you have grown up with hair all of your life, and then suddenly you are FORCED to be completely bald from head to toe, that's not an easy thing to adjust to. I'd say the large majority of people, especially women, wouldn't want to develop Alopecia and lose all of their hair if they had a choice. If you are writing your comment while still having all of the hair on your body, then you can't disagree with someone who has Alopecia being offered treatment to regrow their hair. There's nothing wrong with someone liking their hair or wanting it back. Obviously everyone should strive to love themselves, but that means something different to every person. If you are not affected by the disease, it's NOT okay to say that sufferers of Alopecia should be denied potential treatment because YOU think they should just be told to love themselves. Even if you did have the disease, you still shouldn't be dictating someone else's treatment options. And just to make it clear, I'm not writing this comment to hate on you, but rather to help you to understand that you should respect someone's choice to seek treatment for their life altering disease, rather than claim they don't love themselves enough and claim that they shouldn't even be offered the choice of treatment, because you have absolutely NO idea what it feels like to be in their shoes. We must be supportive of the personal health choices someone makes regarding how their disease affects them, and if they want to accept treatment, we need to respect that and be understanding of how they feel, even if you don't fully agree. 💗 God bless!
