Awsome guys, loving the Scotland series .. and there’s enough up there to keep you busy … loved the shape from above on this one, and particularly the tower and the history from the prison within it … Awsome guys and as the saying goes KILDRUMMY …. You’ve just been pinned 🏰 📌 ❤️

Liked #81, all the tactics of medieval drama of seige and capture of this castle. Quite the long time abandonment of this castle til the state decide to caretake this ruin. Enjoyed the video and history lesson. Thank you dynamic duo! Tale care and enjoy your day 😎👍

Hi and thanks, Pinned on Places for sharing. The contrast between such a beautiful blue sky and the stronghold ruins of the huge Kildrummy Castle-"the Novlest of Northern Castle" with its sorrowful history is dramatic@2:52. The story of the prison of the Warden's Tower had blood stains used for mutilation of body parts for criminals gave me goose bumps@9:32. Again, thank you for educating me. I was delighted to be at the premiere. 🙋‍♀🙋‍♀🛶🛶Sincerely, newbie.

FIRSTLY CONGRATULATIONS ON 1K GUYS! YOU DESERVE IT ALL YOU ARE AMAZING!! :) i think this castle may be a bit more beat up than it was 800 years ago aswell, you couldnt defend much with it anymore 😅 Wow Robert the bruce Took this castle! what a great bit of history :) that period of scottish history has always interested me since braveheart! (despite the historical inaccuracy), but another piece of amazing work guys! i wish you could take your camera back in time to show us the castles when they were built and in use! top work again 😀

So many superb castles in Scotland but one I have not heard of before. It may be a ruin now but still an imposing sight and with a little imagination yo can see what a place it would have been in all its glory. Great story about Robert the Bruce and mutilated bodies seem to be the way things were back then, so glory and gruesome. Super clear, crisp footage to accompany the great history telling, cheers Alan

Glad you enjoyed it thanks so much Cassie and Derren! We got totally lucky with the weather..i don't know how we do it :P So our decision was based on the 'free sites' with our English heritage pass and a mixture of some that we'd seen before and we're totally hooked on. Some of the more popular ones were totally inaccessible in summer as its so busy, but we did manage to get two very epic ones coming up later this month that we were just blown away by. But you're right, there are SOOOO many different places and castles to visit! Its a dream :P

Loved the castle tour and history, Alessa and Brett. Who doesn't like forced marriages, treachery and treason? Though in a few battles and your set for a fun time! Lovely drone footage. Thanks so much for bringing us along.

I'm with Bruce 100 % - can't have an English castle in Scotland! Great place, nicely presented. Been 18 years since I've been there. Gotta get back soon! Always like the drone shots most. Ever had trouble with HS about your droning? I found them rather unsympathetic to my flying.

Bruce is rather a legend :0 would love to see you drone here. We honestly haven't. We tend to drone way away from the property or the area too and preferably when people arnt there so it doesn't cause disruption (although it shouldn't anyway) but never had a problem fingers crossed! Have you?

@@PinnedonPlaces I have been told rather angrily not to drone above the (closed) Hermitage Castle and rather nicely not to drone above Tantallon - which I then didn't. Liked the sign at Dunnottar (no drones when the castle is open - happily it was closed due to high winds...). Yes, I try to be there when nobody else is or at least stay off "their airspace".

@@seb-depp Oh no that's shitty to say the least...I think in all honesty, if you have you license, you follow the rules and the airspace and you don't dive bomb it into peoples faces, genuinely what is the big deal...We are showcasing their work places, not 'their properties' and doing no harm, its a shame! :)

@@PinnedonPlaces Free advertising, that's exactly as I see it. But I guess they are afraid that they'll get sued if something they didn't expressly forbid happens.

Another fantastic tour of this interesting castle. Shame that the Scots wanted to destroy their history but surely had to be done with the revolution behind. Hope the brave Scots treating right in the North!
