Hi and thanks, Pinned on Places for sharing. The contrast between such a beautiful blue sky and the stronghold ruins of the huge Kildrummy Castle-"the Novlest of Northern Castle" with its sorrowful history is dramatic@2:52. The story of the prison of the Warden's Tower had blood stains used for mutilation of body parts for criminals gave me goose bumps@9:32. Again, thank you for educating me. I was delighted to be at the premiere. 🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶Sincerely, newbie.

It may be a ruin now but still an imposing sight and with a little imagination yo can see what a place it would have been in all its glory. Glad you enjoyed it thanks so much Cassie and Derren! We got totally lucky with the weather..i don't know how we do it :P So our decision was based on the 'free sites' with our English heritage pass and a mixture of some that we'd seen before and we're totally hooked on. Some of the more popular ones were totally inaccessible in summer as its so busy, but we did manage to get two very epic ones coming up later this month that we were just blown away by. I'm with Bruce 100 % - can't have an English castle in Scotland! Great place, nicely presented. Been 18 years since I've been there. Gotta get back soon! Always like the drone shots most. Ever had trouble with HS about your droning? I found them rather unsympathetic to my flying.
@PinnedonPlaces2 жыл бұрын
Bruce is rather a legend :0 would love to see you drone here. We honestly haven't. We tend to drone way away from the property or the area too and preferably when people arnt there so it doesn't cause disruption (although it shouldn't anyway) but never had a problem fingers crossed! Have you?
@seb-depp2 жыл бұрын
@@PinnedonPlaces I have been told rather angrily not to drone above the (closed) Hermitage Castle and rather nicely not to drone above Tantallon - which I then didn't. Liked the sign at Dunnottar (no drones when the castle is open - happily it was closed due to high winds...). Yes, I try to be there when nobody else is or at least stay off "their airspace".
@PinnedonPlaces2 жыл бұрын
@@seb-depp Oh no that's shitty to say the least...I think in all honesty, if you have you license, you follow the rules and the airspace and you don't dive bomb it into peoples faces, genuinely what is the big deal...We are showcasing their work places, not 'their properties' and doing no harm, its a shame! :)
