Well this DEFINITELY went up early. Was supposed to go live at 10 AM, like everything does. Oh boy. Well, what're you gonna do? I hope you're all enjoying Scream Sequence 2024. The clowns’ appearances alone made this movie so scary to me as a kid, and the claustrophobia of those bags is a whole other story.

From a certain point of view, we actually DID see the Killer Klowns from Outer Space again. 1991’s Ernest Scared Stupid (one of my childhood favorites) featured several trolls in that movie that were in fact reskinned Klowns. Pretty neat.

I hadn’t seen this movie until recently, within the last year or two. I had a blast. It’s exactly the kind of thing I wanted it to be, and I loved all the creativity behind the scenes. There was a great Offering episode where Jerry talks about this movie, sick plug haha. Never played the video game, but while watching the movie I immediately spotted that the older cop was the voice of Rupert Thorne on Batman the Animated Series. Another great video, man!

i love watching this movie with someone who hasn't seen it before. The reaction almost always goes like this. Stunned silence, a slow turn of the head toward me, and some version of the phrase "The hell did I just watch?"

He can’t keep this pace up forever-but I hope it’s a while longer! I’ve seen this on Netflix for what feels like ever. Just couldn’t bring myself to watch it because I couldn’t check my preconceptions at the door. Glad you went over this one or I’d continue to see it and ignore it. I think I’m willing to try it now.

Killer Klowns was one of those movies that was always on TV in the early to mid 90s and I must've watched it over a dozen times as a kid. You forgot to mention the theme song by The Dickies, which is an absolute banger.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is one of my favorite horror movies ever! Yes the movie is bad, it’s cheesy, absurd, campy as hell and hasn’t aged very well but I don’t care. I enjoy the practical effects and the goofiness. I have fond memories of my friends and I renting this movie from our local video store during our Halloween movie night marathon. I’ll definitely be rewatching this on Halloween.

I would argue that maybe there was a period where it felt like it aged badly, but that period has come and gone, and now this is the perfect time capsule of the time it was made. The silly effects, bad acting and goofy sets make it so authentic, ya know?

This is one of my favorite cult classics I can watch over and over. Killer Klowns is great!!!! Always wanted a sequel but I’ve also been okay without one at the same time. And Ian you didn’t even mention the awesome Killer Klowns theme/song by The Dickies it’s a banger of a track.

This is a movie everyone categorizes as "So bad it's good". But I think it's just good, dumb and corny, but that's kind of the point of the movie, right? So it succeeds in doing what it was supposed to do.

You may have seen Ernest: Scared Stupid, another movie the Chiodos brothers worked on. They re-used several of the clown puppets and costumes as monster in that movie.

First of all, WARN A MOTHERFUCKER BEFORE YOU SHOW UP CLOSE SPIDER FOOTAGE!!!! Secondly, I love this goofy ass movie. I mentioned fun horror on your Child’s Play 2 video and this another great example. Obviously it leans more into the fun side of things. Unlike that recent Resident Evil movie, Killer Klowns actually makes the most of its premise. The Klown designs are so creative and grotesque. As are the kills. I’m honestly surprised there wasn’t a ton of sequels but I’m kinda glad there’s not.
