I believe it's fermented shrimp

@@AngieGandalf6 Typically tuna is added to this so I believe it's that. Fermented shrimp isn't white color.

@@CyberMachine It’s just a brief moment but if you look closely you can see lots of tiny dots in the jar, I think those are the little shrimp eyes
