She’s awesome. I’ve actually seen her comment to some reactors and others when they say she’s signing for him and she says she’s only singing at times when on the album they had that echo sound, haunting sound, going and that’s all she’s doing. She seems cool afk! Amazing how he’s hitting those notes and smoothly going to deep sounds then right back up as always for each character at the age of 63 or so. Better than most at 23, lol. \m/ KD is truly a legend!

All-around strong performance. Huge King Diamond/Mercyful Fate fan here. KD's albums are stories & the different tones of his voice are the different characters in the stories for the most part. If you're going to explore KD's studio albums, I think starting at the beginning with Fatal Portrait, & working your way forward is the best way to go about it. 'The Portrait' & 'Charon' are really good songs from that album. 'Black Horsemen' from the next album, Abigail, is easily one of his best songs. With Mercyful Fate, 'At the Sound of the Demon Bell,' 'Nightmare,' 'The Oath' & 'Come to the Sabbath' are great songs. Don't Break The Oath is one of the greatest metal albums of all-time imo. \,,/_(-,-)_\,,/

Hey man. If you want great melodic proggy metal, you need check Surroundings - Hymn of a False King. Its very underrated band from Australia. I think you loved that band

I really enjoyed that, was a lot of fun watching King Diamond for the first time through your eyes and reactions...god damn it man! You are always on point, and your running commentary reminds me of how my mind works when I'm listening to something for the first time. Have always been curious about this band since I have a couple of friends who really like them. Had no idea about the vocals...that dude is insanely talented! Not sure if I like that there is more high pitched than just "normal" singing, but it's certainly intriguing. Very good players, cool transitions and interesting solos; they are an impressively tight and "clean" band. I could listen to that kind of melodic metal all day even without vocals. I appreciate that he can bring the growlly, aggressive vocal fry but does it with great control...he could do much more of that if you ask me. Well, enough of my rambling, thanks for that double dose of Diamond! I'm definitely going to check out more. Peace! \m/ \m/
